PAULINE HERR RELEASES SEISMIC TRANCE-TINGED MELODIC BASS SINGLE "FAULT LINE" WITH SINGER MARLHY ON LOST IN DREAMS RECORDS

The LA-based rising star teams up with powerful vocalist Marlhy on her genre-bending melodic single.

Los Angeles-based phenom Pauline Herr makes her return to Lost In Dreams Records with her sophomore single, “Fault Line,” recruiting the help of the multi-talented artist Marlhy, blending elements of trance, melodic bass and techno for a seismic offering.

Known for toggling between producer, singer and songwriter, Pauline Herr has become a powertrain for the melodic dance scene. For her follow-up appearance on the Lost In Dreams imprint, she’s roping in the vocal talents of another well-rounded sensation from LA, multi-instrumentalist and singer/songwriter Marlhy. “Fault Line is an earth-shattering track, with Marlhy's velvety topline dealing with the tectonic shift from a failing romance. The emotions are amplified with melancholic chords that lead into a color bass build with rippling melodic techno riffs, vocoded synths, and sparkling chimes splitting the earth in two before transmuting into an epic trance climax.

Sharing the empowering and cathartic story behind the making of the track, Pauline Herr says: “‘Fault Line’ is a really special track to me because it’s my first time working with a female vocalist and I’m such a fan of Marlhy's work. I originally wasn’t planning on having a full vocal on this song, but I showed it to Marlhy, and her vocal brought it to life. This song represents the hurt and anger that come towards the end of a relationship.”

Pauline Herr is the heiress of the melodic dance realm, leaving her stamp on various genres including trap, future bass, techno, trance, and beyond. She debuted on Lost In Dreams Records with her single “Lightyears” last year, receiving radio support from industry giants like Illenium, Alison Wonderland, Zeds Dead, and ARMNHMR. She’s also coming off a massive collaboration with NGHTMRE and Jon Casey via “In Your Eyes,” pulled from the former’s ‘UNSOUND 2’ EP on Gud Vibrations. Beyond her string of successes in the studio, she is embarking on her debut headline tour and is hosting a run of festival dates, including Beyond Wonderland PNW, S20 Hong Kong, Creamfields Shenzhen China, Breakaway Festival, and special guest support for San Holo’s Existential Dance Music show. In May, she performed on kineticFIELD, the mainstage at the renowned EDC Las Vegas.

Unafraid and always forthright, multi-instrumentalist Marlhy has been carving out her own lane. Her music shines a light back on musicianship, and the talents she’s honed since childhood. Noted as, “the next alternative act you need to know,” Marlhy is a seasoned singer, songwriter, musician and forward-thinking artist whose talent has beget collaborations with artists such as Kellin Quinn (Sleeping with Sirens), Duke & Jones, NGHTMRE and Virtual Riot.

By being honest and vulnerable about my own struggles, I hope people feel empowered to get through theirs,” says Marlhy. “I want people to know they aren’t alone and have the strength to overcome anything.”

With “Fault Line, Pauline Herr provides a powerful display of her talent in delivering emotional experiences, all while causing a mighty quake across multiple genres and styles like she’s executed flawlessly throughout her career.

MAX STYLER AND GENESI JOIN FORCES ON SWELTERING TECHNO-INFUSED CLUB TOOL "SEE YOU SWEAT" ON INSOMNIAC RECORDS

House music sensations Max Styler and GENESI connect for a peak-time anthem.

California-based producer Max Styler and fast rising Italian producer GENESI are joining forces for a cross-Atlantic connection on Insomniac Records. “See You Sweat” is a peak-time anthem that fuses their signature styles into a sweltering club tool.

Operating at the highest interval, “See You Sweat” is a dark and energetic workout that blends primetime energy with a stark sense of mystique. Chopped and looped rap vocals inject an undeniable swagger that’s counterbalanced with soulful house vocals, calling back to the track’s namesake with a heavy handed classic house hook. Pelting robotic arpeggiations and techno-tinged phases offer a futuristic feel that pairs perfectly with the driving drums, rubbery basslines and electrifying synths. The track has already spawned a flurry of ID requests online after seeing live support from the likes of Dom Dolla, John Summit, Cassian, Kevin de Vries, Solomun, and Massano.

Max Styler explains how the collaboration came about, saying, “My record ‘See You Sweat’ with GENESI started several months ago, when GENESI forwarded me a Dropbox link of several work-in-progress ideas. I heard the ‘See You Sweat’ vocal and it took me back to when I first heard The KLF version years ago. I knew I had to jump on it and reimagine it with my own twist. The record truly creates a unique moment in our sets and we can’t wait for it to be released.”

GENESI adds his perspective on the collaboration, saying, “This track was born from the desire to merge two similar yet different sounds that are currently very popular in the club scene. I remember sending the first draft to Max, and when he sent it back with his modifications, I thought, ‘Wow! He really turned it into something more.’ The two worlds I mentioned blended perfectly into one, and it's magic. In the last few weeks, we have also started receiving many videos of DJs like Solomun, Dom Dolla, Meduza, Kevin De Vries, Cassian, etc. playing the track, and the crowd's reaction is always huge. It even seems that the audience already knows the track despite it not being released yet!”

Born and bred in California, Max Styler first broke on the scene nearly a decade ago at the ripe age of 18. The ever-evolving artist has been carefully refining his sound with hues of dark, European-inspired elements and club-ready house cuts. He’s unleashed a steady supply of singles on the label thus far and has received radio support from Pete Tong, Capital Dance, Kiss FM UK (‘Fresh Off the Press’). He is currently riding the wave of high profile shows, including Beyond Wonderland PNW, Day Trip Festival, Badlands Festival, Shambhala, VELD Festival, Elements Festival, Brooklyn Mirage, and Ushuaia Ibiza.

GENESI is an explosive producer hailing from Italy. He’s been making his name known in the dance space with an underground-leaning style orbiting around melodic house & techno. His breakout single “Everything You Have Done” has amassed more than 56.3 million streams. His music has drawn support from MK, Laidback Luke, Benny Benassi, MEDUZA, John Summit, and many more.

Already proving its staying power as a secret weapon in sets all over the world, “See You Sweat” is a dancefloor essential set to take the summer by storm.

Friends couldn't help but rave about the new material, even calling NUZB a "psycho" for his insane energy and innovative sound. Taking it as a compliment, NUZB decided to embrace the term, naming his EP "PSYCHO" as a nod to both his friends' remarks and one of his all-time favorite movies.

Talking about the EP, NUZB said the following: ‘’The EP features five tracks, marking a significant release for NUZB, who hasn't dropped something of this magnitude in a while. Each track is distinct yet harmoniously connected, showcasing his evolution towards a bass house sound. The inspiration behind "PSYCHO" draws deeply from the bass music that first ignited NUZB's passion for DJing and producing. Influences from legends like Skrillex and Abstract are evident, as NUZB revisits his roots while infusing a modern twist.’’
