The OFF program on October 2-3 offers free and paid activities in Essaouira, including workshops, yoga classes, and concerts. Among the international artists, the best of the Moroccan electronic scene was represented and the country was also highlighted through a multitude of cultural initiatives including a mural by street artist Said Sabah created with the support of the Moroccan Ministry of Youth, Culture, and Communication, as well as the Almada City Hall.

From October 4-6, the Sofitel Essaouira Mogador Golf & Spa will feature five stages with Moroccan, Portuguese, and international artists for the first time in two years after last year’s edition was cancelled due to an earthquake in the region.

FAT COSMOE, MIKE GANNU AND MAE TEAM UP FOR NEW SINGLE ‘BEHIND’ ON 7RITUALS!

7Rituals keeps on rolling out essential club cuts, this time with Fat Cosmoe, Mike Gannu and MAE all combining to great effect.

BUY / STREAM: FAT COSMOE & MIKE GANNU FEAT. MAE - BEHIND HERE

Fat Cosmoe, Mike Gannu and MAE are a trio of talents who all have their own unique take on melodic house and have served it up on some superb labels. This is not the first time they have hooked up in the studio and it makes for another rich offering.

Behind is a deep roller with spine tingling synth designs. They bring futuristic vibes and neon colour to the hypnotic drums. Starry eyed and rueful, the mood is alluring as the groove rolls on and casts its magical spell.

Origine is then a collab with just Fat Cosmoe and Mike Gannu but it comes alive with more superb synth work that is sugary and pixelated and rains down over the rooted drums. It's cosmic and futuristic music to get lost in at the heart of the dance floor.

This is another tastemaking outing from 7Rituals.

The Who We Are artwork presents a stunning underwater shot by Daniel Nicholson. The ocean appears blue primarily because water absorbs colors in the red part of the light spectrum, and blue light is scattered, making it the most visible to our eyes. Additionally, the sky reflects blue light onto the ocean surface, which enhances its blue appearance. Essentially, the way light interacts with water and is perceived by our eyes is why the ocean looks blue. The Ocean Foundation is the only community foundation for the ocean, on a mission to improve global ocean health, climate resilience, and the blue economy. They create partnerships to connect all peoples in the communities in which they work to receive the informational, technical, and financial resources they need to achieve their ocean stewardship goals.
