TROYBOI RELEASES ‘4 ON DA FLOOR’ EP

Out now via Create Music, the four-track package sees Troy explore the housier side of his creative repertoire and follows the critically acclaimed release of ‘Dhunga’ in April and ‘Híbrido’ in May.

One of electronic music’s biggest hitters is back in the saddle for an EP of epic proportions. Riding a wave of international acclaim off the back of his first two lead singles, ‘Dhunga’ and ‘Hibrido’, which were released earlier this year, Miami-based, British artist TroyBoi now unveils the full four-track package, as he drops ‘4 ON DA FLOOR’.

Marking the latest chapter in TroyBoi’s already star-studded career, 4 ON DA FLOOR delivers an infectious musical journey that moves through a diverse array playful landscapes, blending the British record producer’s trademark sound design with fresh, innovative sensibilities. The EP is built upon the formidable foundations laid by its previously released singles, ‘Dhunga’ and ‘HÍBRIDO’, which enjoyed global recognition following their respective releases in April and May of this year. Now seeing the light of day for the first time, Troy completes the four-track opus with the never-before-heard singles ‘Viper’ ft. Guaynaa and ‘Petrunko’.

First up is ‘Viper’, a high-octane slice of reggaeton-infused house that oozes charm from the outset. Whistful horns, frenzied rhythms and an energetic topline from globally renowned Puerto Rican rapper and singer Guaynaa form the backbone of the cut, as the two artists take us on a slick peak-time journey through sun-drenched tones and bouncing rhythms.

Last but by no means least, Troy offers up his fourth and final original production – and the ID he’s been opening most of his recent sets with – ‘Petrunko’. A masterpiece of a finale delivered by an artist whose creativity seems to know no bounds, big drops, intermittent vocal samples and water-tight production values shine front and centre, as the formidable British artist pulls out all the stops to conclude an extraordinary EP release on Create.

Speaking about the release, Troy commented:

“I’m an artist who loves to experiment with multiple genres. This project is a moment that shows my appreciation of house/four on the floor type rhythms and showcasing it through my production. Four tracks to get you on da dance floor.”

One of the industry’s leading purveyors of bass-heavy electronic music, TroyBoi is an artist committed to pushing the envelop in each and every aspect of his creative output. The mastermind behind a string of celebrated releases on leading labels including Virgin, Interscope, Mad Decent, OWSLA and his own T Dot Music imprint, Troy’s musical output is continuously developing as he adds new textures and layers to his globally renowned hallmark.

The release of 4 ON DA FLOOR EP comes in the midst of an incredible run of headline shows for TroyBoi in 2024. Having already entertained frenzied audiences at the likes of Coachella, EDC Las Vegas, Hangout Fest, Ubbi Dubbi Fest, Project Glow and Breakway, to name a few, the next few months will see Troy take the stage at the likes of Beyond Wonderland at The Gorge and Avant Gardner NYC to HARD Summer, Red Rocks and EDC Orlando, as he prepares to brings his unique brand of electronic music to fans across North America and beyond.

MANTI RELEASES EUREKA EP ON KIOSK ID

The moniker MANTi is Tehran-born Mana Nabati’s outlet for darkly rolling and mesmeric House and Electronica. With ‘Eureka,’ the Los Angeles-based artist conjures a warmly phasing world of arcing synth swells, blazing arpeggios, and ricocheting Electronica for Kiosk ID no. 028.

Thundering pads, suspended vocal drones, and mangled synth sweeps create a crushing sense of gravitas on ‘Eureka.’ Fizzing white noise drums and a reverential synth hook strobe across the stormy firmament, transforming the shadowy ambience into a forceful Electronica anthem. Murat Uncuoglu’s rendition channels the original’s colossal sweeps into cycling stabs and impacts set to a rolling groove, recasting ‘Eureka’ as a choppy and electric club smasher.

‘Vertigo’ unfolds salvos of brightly glinting arpeggios across a rumbling Electronica beat. Rays of blazing pulse waves cut through the track’s thundering substructure, creating towering apexes of uplifting energy that erupt across the frequency spectrum.

‘Ephemera’ blends gloomy, morphing pads, washed-out vocal swells, and bright piano chords into a darkly surging sequence. Glints of beauty flare across the brooding ambience, coalescing in a sublimely warm sawtooth-driven peak.

With ‘Eureka,’ MANTi weaves a captivating auditory story oscillating between crushing darkness and radiating light. Mangled swells, cascading breaks, and bright rays of angelic synth work merge into a dynamic blend of mesmeric and thought-provoking Electronica.
