LA DISCOTHÉQUE CELEBRATES A DECADE OF DISCO WITH 10 YEAR ANNIVERSARY TAKEOVERS AT THE WAREHOUSE PROJECT AND DRUMSHEDS

The Manchester-born brand celebrates a decade of disco heritage with its biggest homecoming show to date at The Warehouse Project, alongside a three-room takeover at London's Drumsheds.

Ten years ago, La Discothèque was founded in Manchester by Kat Warburton, with a glittering vision to reimagine the energy of New York's disco heyday for the 21st-century dancefloor. Debuting its first show on 12th November 2016 at Albert Hall and events across the UK and beyond, including a summer residency at 528 Ibiza earlier this year, La Discothèque now marks its 10th anniversary with two major venue takeovers this November.

The Manchester date on Saturday 7 November marks a significant milestone for the brand as it makes its debut at The Warehouse Project. Taking over all five rooms of Depot Mayfield, the event will be La Discothèque’s biggest homecoming show to date, bringing its decade-long journey back to the city where it began. The celebrations will then continue at London's Drumsheds on Friday 13 November, with a packed three-room takeover.

Speaking on the milestone, founder Kat Warburton shares: “To celebrate this momentous 10-year milestone, we’re hosting two huge anniversary shows, one week apart, with The Warehouse Project representing the North and Drumsheds in London hosting the South.

Manchester and London have both played an integral role in the La Discothèque journey, so it felt only right to celebrate our tenth birthday with two official parties in these iconic venues, falling between the anniversary of our very first event on 12th November 2016.

I feel incredibly blessed to have taken La Discothèque to its tenth year. Over the past decade, we’ve built something truly special, driven by an incredible community that has supported us every step of the way. We can’t wait to bring everyone together this November to celebrate ten years of La Discothèque in the way it deserves.”

The Manchester celebration brings together a wide-ranging lineup featuring Basement Jaxx (DJ Set), Groove Armada (DJ Set), Annie Mac, Dombresky presents Disco Dom, DJ Paulette, Gerd Janson b2b Krystal Klear, Jayda G, Hunee b2b Luke Una, CC:DISCO! and more across the Depot, Concourse, Archive, Vault and Star & Garter 54.

Meanwhile, the London event at Drumsheds will feature Purple Disco Machine, Folamour, Dan Shake and the return of the La Discothèque Orchestra. The programme also includes a room curated by Jayda G, featuring Ron Trent, Jennifer Loveless and Tarzsa, as well as Heléna Star, Daisybelle and more.

Inspired by the electricity of Paradise Garage and the glamour of Studio 54, La Discothéque has grown from an intimate party into an international series of events driven by a family-first ethos where individuality reigns supreme and every dancefloor feels like a homecoming. Renowned for its immersive, high-energy atmosphere, attendees can expect an explosion of vibrant disco energy, high-glamour theatrics, and extravagant production from the moment they step inside.

Famed for its trademark troupe of flamboyant flamingo performers, shimmering disco balls, and lineups uniting established pioneers and rising talent, the brand has built its legacy through a series of landmark events. Five sold-out shows at Printworks London were followed by the honour of hosting the opening party at Drumsheds, before the brand returned to sell out the 15,000-capacity venue. Across five summers in Ibiza, it has staged events at Pikes, 528 Ibiza, Lío, O Beach and Ibiza Rocks, alongside festival stage takeovers at Kala, Eastern Electrics and Elrow, and appearances at Manchester Pride.

Rising from stage and room hosts to full venue takeovers, the brand’s next chapter is expanding into North America, Europe and Asia, with founder Kat Warburton leading as CEO as they build on a decade of growth. With a full circle homecoming at The Warehouse Project in Manchester and its biggest return yet to London's Drumsheds, La Discothèque is celebrating how far it has come while setting the stage for the next ten years.

RÉVEILLON CARNEIROS CELEBRATES 10 YEARS WITH BLACK COFFEE, MICHAEL BIBI, ANOTR AND JAMIE JONES

Brazilian New Year’s festival returns to Praia dos Carneiros from 26 December 2026 to 2 January 2027 with 94 acts, three stages and a new Wellness Club

Réveillon Carneiros will celebrate its 10th anniversary with an eight-day edition on Brazil’s northeast coast when it returns to Praia dos Carneiros in Pernambuco from 26 December 2026 to 2 January 2027.

The anniversary edition plays out under the theme of The Eternal Now, reflecting on ten years of the festival and the meeting point between past, present and future: the now. At a time when attention is constantly being pulled elsewhere, the theme asks a simple question: Are you here now?

The festival brings together 94 acts across electronic and Brazilian music, spanning different scenes and generations. Black Coffee, Michael Bibi, ANOTR and Jamie Jones lead a lineup that also includes Jimi Jules, Kerri Chandler, Mau P, Monolink, WhoMadeWho, Hot Since 82, Carlita and Franky Rizardo.

The programme also features a series of special back-to-back sets, including Adriatique b2b Vintage Culture, Mochakk b2b Maz and Adam Ten b2b Mita Gami, while Brazilian music will have a key presence with Gilberto Gil performing with Gilsons, alongside forró artist João Gomes, Thiaguinho and Syon Trio.

Réveillon Carneiros will also introduce its first Wellness Club for the 2026/27 edition, created in collaboration with NOW Festival. Conceived as a daytime club with its own programme, the space will feature a sauna, ice bath and massage treatments, alongside workouts, yoga, pilates, talks and workshops. Guests will be able to come and go throughout the day, with access included with both the Full Pass and Night Pass. The existing Ritual programme will also return, offering meditation, sound healing and other wellness sessions throughout the festival.

As part of its 10-year celebration, Réveillon Carneiros expands to three stages, with the new Labryinto Stage joining the Main Stage and Trópico Stage. Created in collaboration with Labryinto, the collective behind gatherings in Guanacaste, Costa Rica, the new stage will combine electronic music with its own approach to architecture and production.

The Main Stage will host the festival’s larger-scale performances, while the Trópico Stage will offer a more intimate setting with a house-focused programme. Across the three spaces, the festival will present different musical directions throughout its five Night Celebrations.

The Night Celebrations run from 10pm to 6am, with New Year’s Eve extending from 8pm to 8am. Both the Full Pass and Night Pass include an open bar and food throughout the night, with food served by Arcádia.

The programme continues at Mouton Beach Club, with six sunset parties running from 4pm to 10pm. Villa Mouton serves as a central meeting point throughout the experience, bringing together services and conveniences across the eight days.

The 2026/27 edition marks a decade since Réveillon Carneiros first launched in Pernambuco. Over that period, the festival has developed from a local New Year’s celebration into an international event, with the previous edition welcoming guests from 68 countries and every state in Brazil.

Ten years after its first New Year’s celebration in Carneiros, the festival returns to where it began, looking back at its history while asking what it means to be present now.

EXIT AND P+US MAKE HISTORY AT THE GREAT PYRAMIDS OF GIZA WITH STARLIGHT FESTIVAL'S SPECTACULAR DEBUT

Charlotte de Witte, Michael Bibi, Adriatique and Indira Paganotto lead sold-out first edition, with fans from 114 countries

Award winning EXIT festival together with P+US, Venture Lifestyle’s electronic music platform, launched Starlight Festival in spectacular fashion against the backdrop of the Great Pyramids of Giza, drawing music fans from 114 countries.

On 9th-10th October at a designated site overlooking the pyramids, Starlight was the first ever multi-day, multi-stage electronic music festival staged at Giza. The sold-out festival was the largest electronic music event at the last surviving Wonder of the Ancient World since Jean-Michel Jarre’s millennium concert in 1999.

The success of Starlight carries even greater significance as the festival marked the culmination of EXIT’s international tour, launched after the globally acclaimed Serbian festival was forced to leave its home country following its public support for student-led protests in Serbia.

Charlotte de Witte led the lineup with her first-ever performance in Egypt, joined by Michael Bibi, Adriatique, Indira Paganotto, Enrico Sangiuliano, Vintage Culture, Pete Tong and WhoMadeWho, among 60+ international and regional artists across several stages.

The production was designed by Sila Sveta, the multimedia design studio behind some of the most-renowned global ceremonies and concerts. Its light show used optical illusions to make the pyramids appear to float above the main stage, setting a new benchmark for visual artistry in the global festival scene.

After the main stage, the busiest area was EXIT’s No Sleep stage, which brought Charlie Sparks, BIIA, Layla Benitez, Paolo Ferrara and Olympe to Giza. Fiona Kraft, Floyd Lavine, Lanna, Coeus, Reblok, Clonee and Deer Jade also played, alongside many regional artists. The standout live sets came from WhoMadeWho and Satori, and Gioli & Assia who closed the weekend at Sunday’s farewell show in Cairo.

But it was the international crowd that left the biggest impression. Fans from 114 countries made a holiday of it, dancing through warm desert nights with the pyramids behind them before exploring the rest of Egypt.

Michael Bibi brought his parents for the weekend and, after his main stage set, slipped into the No Sleep crowd to dance incognito. Charlotte de Witte stayed three days with her father and friends, riding camels and trying local food. Indira Paganotto arrived with her 13-strong ARTCORE crew straight from the Ibiza closing at UNVRS, staying until Monday to fly over the pyramids and cruise down the Nile.

With its first edition, Starlight has become a new must-attend, bucket-list date on the global electronic music calendar. Pre-registration is already open for Starlight Festival returning across 5th-6th November, 2027
