BATELEUR FESTIVAL CRETE TAKES OVER A FIVE-STAR RESORT WITH OPEN-AIR PARTIES, WELLNESS AND INTERNATIONAL DJS

Dennis Ferrer, Rafael and OMRI.  lead the first artist announcement as the festival takes over an entire luxury resort in Elounda for a weekend of house music, wellness and open-air parties till sunrise.

A new destination festival format arrives in Crete as Bateleur takes over an entire five-star resort in Elounda from October 22 to October 25, 2026 for a 500-capacity house music experience unlike any other. Bringing together international DJs, a full wellness programme and five-star hospitality, Bateleur creates a fully immersive weekend where the resort itself becomes the festival, set against one of the Mediterranean’s most beautiful coastlines.

Unlike festivals hosted at hotels or resorts, Bateleur takes over the entire property, creating a private environment exclusively for its guests. Accommodation, music programming, wellness and hospitality are designed as one continuous experience, allowing the weekend to unfold organically from poolside afternoons and private beach sessions to open-air parties that continue through to sunrise.

Music sits at the heart of Bateleur, but the experience extends far beyond the dance floor, with a full wellness programme which includes yoga, sound healing, ice baths, workshops and more, creating a balance between celebration and relaxation throughout the weekend.

Leading the first artist announcement is Dennis Ferrer, the New York house music pioneer whose career has helped define the sound of underground house music across three decades. He is joined by Rafael, whose deep, groove-led sets draw on the classic house sound of Chicago, alongside his recently launched label Cheetah Print. OMRI. brings his own distinctive take on house music, with the artist also behind Collecting Dots, a new label quickly establishing its presence within the scene.

Located in Elounda, the resort is just 45 minutes from Heraklion Airport in one of the most exclusive corners of the Greek island. The town is known for its impossibly clear water, dramatic landscape and some of the finest resort properties in the Mediterranean.

Nearby attractions include the traditional fishing village of Plaka, the submerged ruins of the ancient city of Olous, the secluded Kolokytha Beach and a picturesque harbour lined with seafood tavernas, cafés and bars, with plenty to explore.

Taking place in October after summer crowds have gone, Bateleur promises a new, truly intimate way to experience a music festival like never before.

RINKOFF'S BAKERY AND APPETITE ON THE FARM LAUNCH LIMITED-EDITION DOUGHNUT SUPPORTING UKRAINIAN MUSIC INITIATIVE

The doughnut, inspired by the festival’s logo, will be available to buy at both Rinkoff stores for the month of August.

Independent electronic music festival Appetite On The Farm has teamed up with 115-year-old East London institution, Rinkoff's Bakery, to launch a limited-edition doughnut, with a portion of every sale supporting Ukrainian music initiative Enter DJ.

Founded by DJs Elliot Schooling and Liam Palmer, Appetite On The Farm has grown from a grassroots London party into one of the South East's most up-and-coming festivals. Returning to Kelvedon Hall, Essex on 29–30 August, this year's fifth edition features heavyweights Jamie Jones, Skream, Eliza Rose, Todd Edwards, Traumer, Dyed Soundorom and many more.

In celebration of the festival’s fifth anniversary, it has collaborated with beloved family-run bakery Rinkoff's to bring its iconic doughnut logo to life for the first time. Founded in 1911 by Hyman Rinkoff, it has become one of East London's best-known independent bakeries.

Created exclusively, the limited-edition doughnut will be available throughout August at both bakery store locations in Whitechapel and Mile End. Inspired by Appetite's pink doughnut logo, it features Rinkoff's century-old recipe, finished with pink icing and sprinkles. The launch also coincides with the publication of Rinkoff’s debut cookbook, The Jewish Bakery (Quadrille, £28), which celebrates more than a century of family baking recipes.

Together, Appetite and Rinkoff's will donate a portion of proceeds from every Appetite doughnut sold to Enter DJ, an inclusive Ukrainian initiative using electronic music and DJing programmes to support people affected by the war through music and education.

“We’ve always wanted to collab with a bakery and with Appetite on the Farm celebrating its 5th anniversary, we couldn’t think of a better time. Rinkoff’s is a proper East End institution; we loved its history right away and we’re also super excited to be able to work with EnterDJ as well; the work they’re doing in Ukraine is amazing.” - Elliot Schooling, co-founder of Appetite on the Farm.

The limited-edition Appetite doughnut will be available exclusively from Rinkoff's Bakery shop at Vallance Road throughout August, with a portion of every sale supporting Enter DJ ahead of Appetite On The Farm on 29–30 August.

Yahn Dawn 2026 Single Day & Weekend Tickets Now Available

Yahn Dawn, the festival lovingly curated by Pretty Lights, has released single day tickets and daily lineups for its second annual edition, returning to its home of Meadow Creek—nestled in the bucolic Collegiate Peaks of Buena Vista, Colorado—from September 18-20, 2026. In tandem with this release, Pretty Lights introduces a new, weekend-long concept designed with the Yahn Dawn community in mind: 'A Trip Thru Time'.

Inspired by the themes of his new album, A Trip Thru Time Fantastic, this immersive experience invites fans aboard the Soundship Space Bus for a journey that chronologically traces the interconnected sounds and album eras that comprise the Pretty Lights universe. The concept begins on Thursday, September 17, when Early Arrival pass holders will gather for an intimate opening ceremony marking the genesis of Pretty Lights, led by the artist himself alongside founding member Michal Menert.

Through three subsequent nights of live band headlining exhibitions, 'A Trip Thru Time' will continue to surface the creative threads that fuel Pretty Lights’ catalogue, with the band thoughtfully diving through beloved fan favorites, deep cuts, and new material from A Trip Thru Time Fantastic. This immersion serves as a deeply revealing look into the past and present of Pretty Lights—just as the Colorado native steps into a new era.

Expanding to three nights for 2026, Yahn Dawn’s expansive slate of performances embody its ethos of thoughtful curation and discovery, set to the lush backdrop of Meadow Creek. Femme House creator LP Giobbi leads Friday’s billing with a special edition Dead House set, blending Grateful Dead’s classics with various strains of house for a funky, psychedelic ride designed for sustained movement. Mikey Thunder will also bring his left field bass flavors to Yahn Dawn’s opening day, in addition to Maddy O’Neal’s MADHAUS, Midicinal, Faceplant, TheBusiness. and R!AHT.

Saturday ventures deeper into low-end territory, with Emanicpator set to enchant with his full ensemble. Thought Process will invigorate the floor with a liquid drum & bass set, while Pheel and WeSelects will showcase the latest in underground dubstep and bass with lo-fi wubs. Saturday will also feature performances from fellow underground bass purveyors Shooka, Underlux, Parrott, and Dark City Agent.

Sunday closes the weekend with an eclectic run of low-end sonics, helmed by left-field icon Gramatik, instrumental hip-hop trailblazer RJD2, and Saturna. Homemade Spaceship, TF Marz, Mithridates, Mondokoosh, Pants, and Hyperspace Sky all make their Yahn Dawn debuts to complete the weekend.

In addition to single day and weekend-long ticket tiers, Yahn Dawn offers a variety of mix-and-match accommodations for the community. GA and VIP weekend passes allow add-ons including Early Arrival on Thursday, pre-set glamping, RVs and Parking. VIP admission arrives with an exclusive merch package and first entry into the venue, while the VIP Total Fascination Package unlocks a pre-set Luna Bell tent, complimentary Thursday Early Arrival,  and access to an exclusive campsite that allows the easiest access into the event.

True to its roots, Yahn Dawn keeps its focus on connection to nature and one another. For the festival’s 2026 edition, attendees can expect an expanded curation of wellness programming, live art installations, and experiential elements — features that made the inaugural installment feel less like a festival and more like a mountainside family gathering. More details will be announced as Yahn Dawn draws closer.
