GALLERY CLUB ADDS GUY GERBER TO 1ST BIRTHDAY SERIES ALONGSIDE SVEN VÄTH AND LAOLU

The already essential West London venue Gallery Club London has added melodic and progressive favourite Guy Gerber to a standout series of special first birthday events alongside techno legend Sven Väth and classy house operator Laolu. Marking one year since opening its doors, Gallery will host the three-part birthday run across two weekends in late March.

The celebrations begin on Sat 21 Mar with Laolu, the cultured Swiss DJ and producer with releases on Innervisions and Crosstown Rebels, as well as his Siembra label. His sets are shaped by a blend of European club sounds and West African influences, with depth and soul to spare.

Part two continues on Fri 27 Mar with techno pioneer and Cocoon label head Sven Väth. A defining figure in global electronic music for over four decades, Väth’s appearance will see him bring his signature vinyl-driven, hypnotic sound to the intimate West London space with plenty of colourful curveballs and his unique charisma all shaping what will be a special night.

Closing the birthday programme on Sat 28 Mar, long time innovator Guy Gerber joins the lineup as the final headliner. His detailed melodic take on house and techno, as well as his long-running Rumors label and events, make him a master of emotion and his addition completes a strong anniversary bill for Gallery Club.

Since launching in March 2025, Gallery Club has quickly established itself as a key destination in West London’s underground scene. With a 360° DJ booth, d&b audiotechnik sound system and tightly curated programming that offers the sort of tasteful sounds not usually found in this area of the capital, it is now firmly entrenched in the scene.

The first birthday series reflects the venue’s continued focus on bringing together established global artists and forward-thinking sounds as it enters its second year.

HOSPITAL RECORDS CELEBRATES 30 YEARS WITH 4000 CAPACITY DAY FESTIVAL IN HACKNEY WICK

The new 4,000-capacity, six-stage event in Hackney Wick spanning both indoor and open-air spaces forms part of Hospitality’s wider 30th anniversary programme, alongside Hospitality On The Beach in Croatia and Hospital30 On The Harbour in Bristol.

Hospitality, the global events arm of Hospital Records, is launching a brand-new London summer event as part of the label’s landmark 30th year celebrations. The Hospital30 Block Party will take over N090 in Hackney Wick, East London on 1st August, bringing together more than 60 artists across six stages and areas for a full day celebrating drum & bass culture under the summer sun.

The event forms part of the wider Hospital30 anniversary programme taking place throughout the year. Celebrating three decades of one of drum & bass’ most influential labels, 2026 features a series of major events and gatherings including their debut show at Magazine London earlier this month, flagship destination festival Hospitality On The Beach in Tisno, Croatia, and the upcoming Hospital30 On The Harbour on Bristol’s waterfront at Lloyds Amphitheatre.

Driven by the passion of Hospitality fans for a summer day party in the capital, the Hospital30 Block Party introduces an open-meets-indoor concept for the brand in London. The event will span both sides of the canal in Hackney Wick, with six curated stages and areas ranging from intimate club rooms to a large outdoor stage. Attendees will be able to move freely between spaces throughout the day, exploring different sounds and atmospheres while experiencing the full spectrum of drum & bass in one place.

The six stage programme will showcase a broad cross section of drum & bass, reflecting the sound and community built around Hospital Records over three decades. Across the lineup, fans can expect performances from artists including High Contrast, DJ Marky, Pola & Bryson, P Money x Whiney, Fred V, Makoto, Black Sun Empire, London Elektricity, DJ Die, Nu:Tone, QZB, Flava D and many more, with special guests appearing across the day.

Designed as a full day out for the drum & bass community, the event welcomes both long-standing fans and those discovering the sound for the first time. Alongside the music programme, guests can relax in multiple chill out areas and refuel throughout the day at a dedicated street food and drinks court hosted by Hackney Bridge, known for its mix of independent food traders, bars and canal side seating. The event will also feature the Hospital Shop and plenty of outdoor spaces for soaking up the summer atmosphere.

Chris Goss, CEO & CoFounder of Hospital Records, said: "We're super excited to be back in London for a proper all-day celebration of drum & bass with our unbeatable Hospital family. Hospitality has always been about bringing people together, and with the Hospital30 Block Party we're creating something really special - the first outdoor meets indoor, multi-space drum & bass day party of its kind in the capital. Six stages, brilliant artists representing diverse sonics and thousands of the drum & bass community all coming together under the midsummer sunshine. It's going to be a truly special milestone in our 30 Years of Hospital celebrations!”

With a capacity of around 4,000 people, the event aims to capture the signature Hospitality atmosphere in an outdoor summer setting. From liquid and soulful rollers to jungle, minimal and neuro, the programme reflects the diversity of the genre while staying true to the uplifting energy that Hospitality events have become known for worldwide.

Founded in South London in 1996, Hospital Records has grown into the world’s largest independent drum & bass label and one of the genre’s most influential institutions. Alongside its label output, Hospitality has spent more than two decades building a global reputation for its events and festivals, hosting shows across the UK, Europe, North America, Asia and Australia while bringing together a worldwide community of drum & bass fans.

Tickets for Hospital30 Block Party will be available with a simple ticket structure, pre-sale tickets will be available from 7pm on Tuesday 24 March, with a limited allocation priced at £35. Access to this discounted release will be offered exclusively to those who join the pre-sale via the pre sale sign up link. General sale will follow at 7pm on Wednesday 25 March, with all remaining tickets priced at £40.

In keeping with the spirit of the event, this ticketing approach has been deliberately simplified with the single standard entry price, alongside the usual Group Ticket and Early Entry options. With no tiered price increases or late stage ticket hikes, the approach aims to ensure fair and accessible entry for the entire drum and bass community.
