The walls are set to shake and the earth will rumble once more as Terminal V Festival returns to Edinburgh’s Royal Highland Centre & Showground on 18th and 19th April 2026. Marking another chapter for one of Europe’s most formidable electronic events, next year's event will unfold across two epic days, with 40,000 ravers and five fully immersive stages headlined by over 100 cutting-edge artists for a weekend of unrelenting energy and precision production.

The 2026 lineup is a razor-sharp snapshot of contemporary electronic music and collision of heavyweights, legends, disruptors and future icons of techno. Set to perform are the likes of Detroit godfather Robert Hood whose loopy sound helped characterise early minimal and remains in a class of its own. 

The raucous Sara Landry presents the UK debut of her ETERNALISM show and her only Scottish appearance all year. It is a hard techno odyssey with high-octane beats and avant-garde production inspired by the otherworldly art of Hans Ruedi Giger's Alien creation. The aim is to create a spiritual gathering that transcends the typical club experience. Klangkuenstler is one of the defining forces in the new wave of industrial techno and his sets are pure adrenaline hits built for the warehouse, while the UK’s breakout house and techno star Ben Hemsley blends euphoric melodies, emotional drops and peak-time power for the new generation, and Australian REVIVE RECORDS founder Restricted will also serve up his unrelenting mix of psy, rawstyle, industrial, hardcore and more after amassing half a billion streams and becoming a fixture in Beatport’s Hardcore/Neo Rave charts. 

They’re joined by underground stars across house, techno and bass such as Mall Grab, Anetha x DJ Gigola, Clara Cuvé, East End Dubs, Somewhen x Otta, Paige Tomlinson and many more with each bringing their distinct edge to the festival’s next evolution.

Built from the ground up for sheer sonic intensity, Terminal V has a deserving reputation for monumental scale and meticulous attention to detail. Every stage is designed as a standalone world with bespoke architecture, high-impact visuals and chest-rattling sound for a sensory overload built for those who live and breathe dance music.

immersive experience curators Do LaB have announced the music lineup for North America’s original boutique music festival, Lightning in a Bottle, returning to Buena Vista Lake in Southern California during Memorial Day Weekend on May 20-24, 2026.

Lightning in a Bottle stands as a beacon for the bold - an independent festival for 23 years running - that thrives on the beautiful chaos of participation and childlike wonder. Every structure, sound, and surprise is born from collective hands and unfiltered play, a reminder that magic doesn’t come from algorithms or spectacle, but from people building something real together. It’s a space where creativity runs wild, where fun and freedom are sacred values, and where each year brings new surprises that remind us what it means to feel truly alive together.

At LIB’s core is the music, a carefully curated journey through sound in all its forms. From the larger than life energy of the Lightning, Woogie, and Thunder stages to the community-fueled magic of The Stacks, The Junkyard, and The Grand Artique. In 2026, LIB will welcome some of the world’s most in demand acts to its stages, spearheaded by the dreamlike anthems of visionary Australia act Empire Of The Sun, breakout hitmaker Mau P, high priestess of hard techno Sara Landry, and the limitless Deadbeats label heads Zeds Dead. Top highlights also include UK drum & bass torchbearers Chase & Status, star Brazilian sensation Mochakk, ethereal multi-instrumentalist Barry Can’t Swim, and multi-platinum certified R&B disruptor Tinashe.

House music styles are well represented by the likes of wide-ranging selector Maceo Plex, clubland favorite Hot Since 82, the infectious energy of Grammy-nominated producer and DJ Jayda G, dance music pioneer Lee Burridge, classic house meets new school tech producer J. Worra, melodic French producer and live performer Rodriguez Jr., the North American debut of German-Nigerian artist JAMIIE and her African-inspired rhythms, scene risers AYYBO and Linska, and the fun-loving crew of Desert Hearts (Mikey Lion, Lee Reynolds, Marbs).

Music lovers searching for the more eclectic shades of dance music will look no further than new gen junglist Nia Archives, the ‘90’s rave, breakbeat, and trance inspired sounds of Overmono, meteoric high bpm favorites DJ HEARTSTRING, the boundary breaking and genre-crossing Avalon Emerson, deep groove-driven Copenhagen trio Tripolism, and the raw club energy of 1-800 GIRLS.

Acts spanning all kinds of sounds and backgrounds will always be found at LIB, including the iconic drag superstar DJ Trixie Mattel - following up on her buzzed Do LaB Coachella surprise set in 2025 - plus Nigeria’s heavyweight Afrobeats standout Sarz, the dazzling carnival-pop duo Haute & Freddy, disco electronic pop outfit Midnight Generation, introspective rapper and poet KAMAUU, and powerful vocalism of Noga Erez. Building on a 2025 programming highlight, LIB will also bring back its takeover nights at the Crossroads stage, featuring a range of SoCal’s diverse party crews such as A Club Called Rhonda, Respect DnB, Baile World, and FMLY BZNS.

Beyond the music stages lies a world built for exploration, connection, and transformation. Spaces like The Compass invite fans to expand their minds through hundreds of workshops and talks spanning topics from indigenous wisdom to climate action, love, and consciousness. This Halloween, the city of Barcelona will experience an unprecedented event: elrow, Brunch Electronik, and Loud-Contact join forces for the first time to present a joint festival that promises to redefine how the most haunting night of the year is celebrated. On November 1, 2025, from 3PM - 3AM, Parc del Fòrum will be transformed into Halloween Takeover, a universe of music, fantasy, and terror.

Halloween unites electronic music in an unprecedented event

Barcelona will witness an unprecedented collaboration between three of the most influential promoters in the electronic scene. The festive energy and immersive staging of elrow join the sustainable, community-driven spirit of Brunch Electronik, alongside Loud-Contact’s large-scale production expertise. Industry City, the label born from the spirit of Monegros, will also host its own stage for the most intense sounds.

More than 25,000 attendees are expected at Parc del Fòrum, with four stages and over 35 artists performing across twelve hours of uninterrupted music - from afternoon to the early hours of the morning.

Though held on the spookiest date of the year, the 3pm start ensures a full experience blending the energy of a daytime festival with the mystery and magic of the night.
