The DJ Awards will return to Ibiza on Thursday 9th October for a truly independent celebration of electronic music culture

The influential DJ Awards is back for the 24th edition with another iconic, and more importantly independent and authentic, celebration of electronic music culture at the end of a superb summer season. On Thursday 9th October 2025, the spotlight returns to the White Isle for a night of deserved recognition and unforgettable music and dining at ROTO Club in Ibiza Town, a cool, urban hotspot with stunning views of the sea and Dalt Vila. Ahead of the ceremony, the Industry Awards Winners, as voted for by a Grand Jury, are now revealed. 

Now in its second consecutive year since relaunching, the DJ Awards continues to loudly and proudly champion integrity and independence. The Industry Awards spotlight behind-the-scenes excellence, visionary leadership and the vital elements that power the dance music ecosystem. It has a global outlook and celebrates both red-hot new musical trends, enduring scene legends and more.

Due to recent and unfortunate developments regarding the devastating floods in Ibiza, the DJ Awards will be donating funds from the ceremony towards the Spanish Red Cross (Creu Rojo) to assist those affected by the flash floods.

Unlike commercial awards and pay-to-play platforms, the refined DJ Awards ceremony, in partnership with YouTube, Suntory and Skiddle this year, stands apart by celebrating talent on merit alone. New for this year, every nominee is selected by a fully independent Grand Jury made up of respected insiders, creatives, industry and market leaders and experts from over 50 leading music brands and institutions worldwide. This unique move guarantees a diverse, authentic, and genre-spanning representation of today’s dynamic DJ culture that also connects back to the integral and honest roots of the DJ Awards. It’s real recognition for top level talent, innovation and excellence by those with huge experience and who are perfectly placed to judge.

The ceremony itself will see nominees and music professionals gather, spanning across a wide-ranging selection of categories, genres, geographies and industry influence, awaiting the reveal of DJ Awards winners. This year's categories include the newly launched Balearic and Hard Dance/Bounce categories, plus returning favourites Afro, Breakthrough, Drum & Bass, Garage/Bassline, Hard Techno, House, International DJ, Latin/Reggaeton, Live Act, Newcomer, Prog/Melodic, Tech House, Techno and Trance.

The DJ Awards yet again promises to be one of the standout nights of the Ibiza season, on October 9th a celebration of music industry excellence will commence in a venue at the heart of Ibiza's underground scene.

MICHAEL CANITROT BRINGS MONUMENTAL TOUR TO LIFE AT THE ICONIC CHÂTEAU DE CHAMBORD

Heritage and innovation aligned as Chambord hosts Michael Canitrot's Monumental Tour

On September 23 , the Renaissance walls of the Château de Chambord came alive as Michael Canitrot brought his Monumental Tour to one of France’s most treasured landmarks. The evening was a fusion of architectural grandeur, technological achievement, and electronic music's very finest, reaffirming Canitrot's Monumental Tour as one of Europe's top live spectacles.

The night placed Canitrot’s artistic direction at the forefront, using Chambord as a backdrop to tell an audiovisual story about both heritage and progression. While the château provided the canvas and technology the colors, but it was Canitrot’s brushstrokes as a DJ that made the night truly come alive. With proceeds from the evening supporting the restoration of the château’s historic François I wing, the project once again proved itself as much about preservation as celebration.

Commenting on the night, he says,

“Chambord is a unique place where history, architecture, and grandeur come together in the service of beauty. More than five centuries after its creation, this masterpiece continues to captivate. To make my music resonate there and inscribe it within such a setting will remain an unforgettable experience.”

With Château de Chambord now part of the Monumental Tour’s growing story, Canitrot continues a journey that has already left its mark on landmarks such as Notre-Dame de Paris, Mont-Saint-Michel, the Eiffel Tower, Paris’s Palais Royal, and Zaragoza’s Basílica del Pilar. That vision resonated stronger than ever at Chambord, where centuries-old stone met cutting-edge sound design in a night that, too, will stand the test of time.

Third U.S. Edition Following Record-Breaking Seattle Stop

Following last weekend’s record-setting Seattle edition, electronic visionary Rezz today announces the highly-anticipated third U.S. edition of her audio-visual spectacle, PORTAL, taking place at The Armory in Minneapolis, MN on February 21, 2026. 

Debuted in March, PORTAL is an immersive live experience engineered to engage every sense while blurring the line between music and visual art. Built around a custom 60-foot circular screen, PORTAL combines cutting-edge projection mapping, pulsating lights, and intricate stage design to transport fans into the otherworldly recesses of Rezz’s mind. Pulling on the hypnotic thread of her latest album As The Pendulum Swings, the show sets Rezz’s illusory imagery on maximum overdrive. PORTAL was created in collaboration with Bending Lite and features a thorn-covered custom circular DJ booth by Dark Moon Designs and original graphic design led by X CVLT.   

This year has seen Rezz reach new career milestones, first conquering the Bay Area’s Cow Palace with over 10,000 tickets sold and Seattle’s Tacoma Dome with 15,000 just last weekend. The Northwestern edition of PORTAL marked a historic moment, making Rezz the first female electronic artist to headline the venue and staging the largest headline show by a female electronic artist in the region. 

PORTAL Minneapolis will cap off Rezz’s headline As The Pendulum Swings Tour, which will kick off in Paris on December 6 before coming Stateside in 2026 with stops in Boston, Brooklyn, Detroit, Houston, and St. Louis. Supporting Rezz’s acclaimed fifth studio album, the tour will lead into Rezz’s back-to-back Saturday performances at Coachella.

Canadian producer/DJ Rezz (real name Isabelle Rezazadeh) has become one of the biggest female electronic acts in the world: she's racked up millions of streams, sold out renowned amphitheaters, and performed at major festivals like Coachella and Lollapalooza. As one of dance music's foremost female innovators, Rezz’s accomplishments are endless: from gracing the covers of Billboard (2019) and DJ Mag (2018) to winning a pair of Juno Awards for Electronic Album of the Year (Mass Manipulation, 2018 & Beyond the Senses, 2020). Her career is illuminated by historic moments including being the first female DJ to headline Coachella's Sahara Stage and Colorado's Red Rocks.
