SHAMBHALA MUSIC FESTIVAL DROPS MASSIVE 25TH-ANNIVERSARY LINEUP

Today, Canada's longest-running electronic dance music event, Shambhala Music Festival, unveiled its lineup for 2024. Set to take place from July 26-29, 2024, the festival’s 25th-anniversary lineup features a blend of festival favourites, world-renowned headliners, and a diverse selection of underground talents from both Canada and abroad.

 

Festival attendees have the opportunity to experience a wide array of performances, including Anderson .Paak as DJ Pee .Wee, Chromeo, CloZee, Dillon Francis, Disclosure, Excision, Ganja White Night, James Blake, San Holo, Tipper, and many more. Earlier this winter, dubstep & bass aficionado Subtronics and talented producer LSDREAM were revealed as the first headliners for Shambhala 2024.

In addition to today’s impressive lineup release, you can expect to see close to 100+ yet-to-be-announced artists roll out as the Living Room Stage, the Grove Stage, the Fractal Forest, the AMP Stage, the Village Stage and the Pagoda Stage each release their own respective lineups in the coming weeks. To celebrate its milestone 25th Anniversary, the festival has also released the Official 2024 Trailer, which traverses 25 years of archival footage.

 

The 25th Annual Shambhala Music Festival is scheduled to take place from July 26th to 29th, 2024, in Salmo, BC. Tickets for the upcoming festival completely sold out long before today's lineup announcement. The demand was unprecedented, with all tickets and lodging packages snapped up within a mere 3 hours of being on sale in September 2023, marking the quickest ticket sale in the festival's 25-year history. In response to the overwhelming demand, EDM enthusiasts are urged to sign up for the official waitlist. Additionally, Shambhala Music Festival has just announced an Official Pre-Party event, taking place Saturday, June 29th on the Salmo River Ranch. Interested attendees can RSVP to the official Facebook event page and sign-up for Shambhala’s e-newsletter for updates. Tickets for the Official Pre-Party go on sale on this Thursday, March 7th at 12 pm PST.

GIGEE ANNOUNCES ‘GIGEE INVITES’ SERIES WITH FIRST EDITION AT PRAGA CENTRUM, WARSAW

GIGEE invites: Anja Schneider & Gheist (Live-Hybrid)

A venue that needs no introduction: Praga Centrum has been an integral part of clubbing Culture in Warsaw since it opened its doors in 2019.

Ahead of curating an extended run of shows under the brand in 2024 - GIGEE is premiering her “GIGEE invites” series on Friday 01 March 2024.

The Warsaw born artist is on a mission to bring Electronic Music’s greatest talents to her hometown. Join her and her guests, and enjoy a wonderful blend of internationally renowned artists, and discover the emerging talents who need to be on your radar.

The first event pulls no punches. The legendary Berlin based DJ, producer, radio broadcaster, and label boss Anja Schneider will be co-headlining the event. Honoured by The Berlin Music Commission for her significant impact on the music scene, Anja is known for her diverse broadcasting experience and for pioneering electronic music broadcasting through her daily 'Berlin Beats' radio show.

Joining Anja as co-headliners are Gheist. The Berlin based duo are on a rapid global ascension. Their performances, characterised by a unique blend of melancholy and euphoria, have captivated worldwide audiences. They will be performing their incredible LIVE Hybrid set for their debut at Praga Centrum. Gheist’s signature live vocals and incredible visuals which have been a mainstay of this year’s global festival circuit are a match made in heaven for Praga Centrum.

Of course, it wouldn’t be right for GIGEE herself not to grace the decks on this momentous evening. Having released on Anja Schneider’s MOBILEE, and Joris Voorn’s Spectrum labels, amongst others - GIGEE’s unique blend of playful yet powerful melodic techno already has global recognition. She’s performed across the world, and her music has been an integral part of many DJ’s sets across the summer festival season and Ibiza residencies - from Joris Voorn to Solomun, GIGEE has immense pride in this recognition, and yet - she remains most excited to perform for you, her home crowd in December.

Carl Bee will also be joining the party. The inspiring Malta based DJ, producer and festival creator has released on renowned labels like Diynamic, Spectrum, and Intec - and he has instantly garnered support from industry giants such as Solomun and Carl Cox. 

Mia Twin and EXCE complete the lineup. These local emerging talents will be adding their own unique flavours to the evening’s proceedings - and are a testament to the rich tapestry of talent that Warsaw has to offer.

NWYR MAKE ELECTRIFYING COMEBACK AT ASOT DESTINATION 2024

Global dance music fans were treated to a momentous occasion this past weekend, as one of the industry’s most influential duos, W&W, resurfaced their esteemed NWYR alias with a captivating performance at A State Of Trance’s debut Rotterdam event, ASOT DESTINATION 2024.

Following a four-year hiatus from the live stage as NWYR, Willem van Hanegem and Ward van der Harst delighted the audience at Rotterdam Ahoy under their Trance-leaning moniker, drawing a 25,000-strong crowd to witness their highly-anticipated comeback. Helmed by Armin van Buuren, A State Of Trance stands as a cornerstone brand within the industry, with a multitude of events across the electronic music calendar attracting enthusiasts from across the globe, year after year. NWYR's performance at A State Of Trance Rotterdam 2024 was a tour de force, as they showcased an electrifying set, which fans have eagerly awaited for the past four years.
