YULIA NIKO ANNOUNCES TWINSOUL ALBUM TOUR

Yulia Niko – TWINSOUL LP

Out Friday March 8 via Armada Music

With less than three weeks to go until the release of her debut album TWINSOUL on March 8 via Armada Music, internationally celebrated producer and globally in-demand DJ, Yulia Niko, now unveils details of the extensive world tour set to accompany the impending LP release.

Announcing twenty-two shows across North America, South America and Europe over the course of March, April and May – and with more to be added in the coming weeks – Yulia’s TWINSOUL album tour will see the formidable Berlin-based selector stop off at a number of renowned festivals, venues and nightclubs as she gears up to deliver her own unique brand of underground house and techno to a vast swathe of fans the world over.

Kicking off at Cirque Noir in Austin (TX) for an album launch party on Friday, March 8, Yulia will then take on over twenty additional shows in just three months, with key performances at the likes of Bar Americas, Tomorrowland Winter, Ritter Butzke, Art of the Wild, Extrema Festival and Lightning in a Bottle, to name just a few.

The European album launch party will take place at NOM in Barcelona on March 16, where Yulia will be joined by a host of special guests and album collaborators. For a full list of dates and tickets information, head to www.yulia-niko.com

Speaking about the tour and upcoming album release Yulia commented:

“My new album TWINSOUL has been a long time in the making and is a project that’s very close to my heart. I’m so excited to finally share this body of music with the world and I cant wait to feel everybody’s reactions in a live setting when I take it on tour.”

Following her debut on Armada Music with ‘You Knew’ in August 2023, and a run of follow up singles ever since, Yulia Niko will release her first studio album ‘TWINSOUL’ on the iconic Dutch imprint on Friday, March 8, 2024. Having already garnered support from the likes of Damian Lazarus, Gorgon City, RÜFÜS DU SOL, and John Digweed, the exploratory and profoundly intimate 10-track project reveals a raw and experimental sonic approach across vast deep house landscapes and represents each part of her soul coming together in the wake of her father’s death.

Throughout the project, Yulia skillfully links each song together in terms of sound and production, while simultaneously infusing each track with a distinct narrative drawn from the chapters of her own life. Stepping outside the bounds of her sound to experiment and create freely, she approaches the album like a blank canvas and uses the boundless space to produce a sincere and heartfelt ode to her father's memory.

A staunch contributor to the ongoing progression of the global house and techno movement, with a unique, forward-thinking sound that champions deep grooves and infectious minimalism, Yulia Niko’s extensive body of productions have become a regular feature in Beatport’s top charting territories. Having spent years honing her skills in the studio, cultivating her now unmistakable sound palette, she has become a true master of her craft, exploring the darkest corners of her hardware to extract the melodic and minimal sensibilities her audiences have come to know and crave. Known for her genre-bending hybrid of diverse musical influences, her productions have been featured on leading labels including Crosstown Rebels, Rose Avenue, Get Physical, 8bit and Watergate, amongst others.
