Since its inception in 2015, CRSSD Festival has created a unique enclave for the global electronic music community in San Diego. Fostered to connect the best and brightest of clubland in a setting that personifies the sun-soaked aesthetic of Southern California, the event is a pillar of the international festival calendar. Today, CRSSD announces another genre-spanning lineup for its Spring 2024 edition, returning to its home of Waterfront Park in downtown San Diego on March 2-3.

CRSSD takes over the lush, centrally-located, bayside Waterfront Park by day. Its after party series CRSSD After Dark encompass clubs, venues, and converted spaces throughout the city. Its thoughtful curation makes it the ultimate destination festival for anyone passionate about dance music. CRSSD's Spring 2024 lineup is characteristically diverse, blending different genres and eras of electronic music.

The Ocean View stage features the Italian melodic duo Tale Of Us, who have proven to be not only musically compelling but also hold a deft mastery of visual artistry. They are joined by South Africa's pride and joy Black Coffee and the genre-fluid live act WhoMadeWho. Also taking the stage at Ocean View are eclectic live duo Red Axes, Austrian trip-hop pioneers Kruder & Dorfmeister, hip-hop and soul influenced producer SANGO, and globally renowned Swedish electronic band Little Dragon.

The Palms stage, CRSSD’s haven for house music and non-stop party atmosphere, is led by revered house legend Armand Van Helden and Brazilian house music virtuoso Mochakk, whose viral social media fame is only matched by his unparalleled stage presence. Also on the bill are Astra Club, the sought-after duo who consistently deliver an unexpected range from the avant-garde to energetic underground heat and Innervisions founder Dixon. British UK garage hero Sammy Virji takes to the stage, as well as minimal tech mastermind East End Dubs, Beatport's best-selling Minimal/Deep Tech artist of all time Toman, and Sofia Kourtesis, fresh off of her highly praised debut album Madres.

On the City Steps stage, techno reigns supreme, showcasing storied figures and rising wildcards anchored by French stalwart TRYM, the leader of a new generation of harder-edged artists playfully riding the line between warehouse-rattling techno and sweat-soaked hard dance. Elsewhere on the lineup is one of the architects of dance music culture, Richie Hawtin, alongside fellow storied electronic producer Jeff Mills. The lineup’s depth continues with the universally beloved Joris Voorn and a blistering B2B session from Héctor Oaks and Tiga.

The curated CRSSD experience extends beyond the music, treating attendees to handpicked food vendors, immersive decor and stage designs, and interactive programming through its CRSSD Lab music-tech lounge and vinyl market. It's the quintessential electronic music journey in one of the West Coast's most beautiful urban centers.

The creators behind Summer Camp Music Festival have just unveiled the genre-bending Phase One lineup for their new festival concept: Solshine: A Music and Arts Reverie. 

The event’s inaugural edition will take place at Summer Camp’s beloved venue of Three Sisters Park in Chillicothe, Illinois from Friday, May 24 - Sunday, May 26, 2024, with a pre-party on Thursday, May 23.

Continuing Summer Camp’s long-standing tradition, Solshine: A Music & Arts Reverie will be co-hosted and headlined by legendary jam rock band moe. and iconic genre-melding progressive rock band Umphrey’s McGee.

Other Summer Camp-veterans headlining the first-ever Solshine include critically-acclaimed indie-jam five piece Goose, electronic-funk duo Big Gigantic, psychedelic jam rock band STS9, and GRAMMY-nominated melodic bass duo SLANDER.

To usher in the new era of Solshine, the festival will welcome first-time headliners such as global party-starter John Summit, legendary jam band The String Cheese Incident, and Canadian electronic music icon deadmau5.

Solshine will host a bevy of additional talented acts, including Summer Camp-favorites such as Twiddle-lead singer/guitarist Mihali, genre-blending, rock/bluegrass multi-instrumentalist Keller Williams, North Carolina alt-rock sextet Big Something, future groove trio lespecial, synthwave six-piece Doom Flamingo, Denver-based electro-soul artist Manic Focus, bass experimentalist Eprom, queer rapper/producer/DJ Wreckno, joyful bass queen Maddy O’Neal, The Disco Biscuits’ bass player Marc Brownstein’s electronic moniker DJ Brownie, zany bass DJ Mickman, renowned rock improvisers The Werks, electronic duo Snakes & Stars (comprised of Michael Travis of The String Cheese Incident and Aaron Johnston of Brazilian Girls/David Byrne’s American Utopia), ascendent CT-based jam quartet Eggy, and Chicago-based bass producer/DJ DOGMA. 

Acts landing at Three Sisters Park for their first times include acoustic trio/Goose-offshoot Orebolo, Claude VonStroke’s bass alias Barclay Crenshaw, highly-anticipated linkup Kill Safari (Kill The Noise b2b Bro Safari), versatile trap producer Zingara, electronic trio Levity, British producer/DJ and sound design specialist Moody Good, and dubstep queen Austeria.

The lineup is rounded out by acts including Allie Kral, Armchair Boogie, Black Carl!, Brainchild, Chicago Farmer & The Fieldnotes, DJ Marb Menthols, Formerly The Fox, Jason Leech, Late Night Radio, Moon Hooch, MZG, Old Shoe, Phyphr, Polyrhythmics, Rendr, Saxsquatch, Steady Flow, Sun Stereo, TAND, VCTRE, and Vibeline. 

In addition to its music programming, the Solshine will offer a variety of workshops, food & craft vendors, and activities - the heart and soul of what made Summer Camp a ‘home away from home’ for attendees who returned year after year. 

Solshine will also retain Summer Camp’s core ethos of building an inclusive community around music. Through its mission of sustainability, the festival will aim to inspire attendees to live a life of intention and purpose in order to create a positive impact on the world. To capture this spirit, the festival will host the coveted experiential art area The Illumination Woods and the permanent garden SOULPATCH as a dedicated area to increase knowledge of permaculture and sustainability.  

The inaugural Solshine will continue the brand’s longstanding Memorial Day Weekend affair at the breathtaking Three Sisters Park in Chillicothe, Illinois. The private park provides a natural amphitheater and a stunning landscape that create the perfect scenic playground for festival goers to explore. Attendees can also camp within the festival grounds, further elevating the festival’s community-oriented make-up.

All Solshine tickets will have camping included. There are a variety of additional add-ons available including VIP upgrades as well as RV and car camping spots. The VIP upgrade includes exclusive amenities, access to the Thursday pre-party, VIP camping and viewing areas, VIP lounge, air-conditioned bathrooms, and more.  

HARDWELL OPENS THE VAULT WITH THE LAUNCH OF HIS ‘UP AND CLOSE’ YOUTUBE SERIES

Acclaimed electronic dance music DJ/producer Hardwell is delighted to announce the launch of his brand-new YouTube video series, a project born from his desire to give back to his fans and the wider music community.



This engaging and educational series is dedicated to unveiling the secrets of his music production process and offering invaluable insights into various facets of the music production world. Giving a nod to the earlier ‘in studio’ series Hardwellrecorded almost ten years ago, this new series is a refreshed insight into the knowledge and experience the award-winning dance music icon has garnered since those earlier days.



Hardwell, renowned for his hit singles and exhilarating performances, is taking a step to mentor and inspire with his ‘Up and Close’ sessions. This series, debuting this week on YouTube,promises an up-close and personal journey into the world of electronic music production guided by Hardwell himself.



Music lovers and beat makers can expect exclusive live streams with Hardwell from his studio, as well as in-depth production tutorials, DJ tips and tricks, and even a return of his Q&A series from that earlier series of Hardwell’s Studio Sessions.



Hardwell has carved out a long-lasting legacy within the electronic music world through his expansive career as a producer, remixer, and label boss. From remixing the biggest names in pop music, including Rihanna, Calvin Harris, Moby, U2, J Balvin, and Coldplay, to delivering crossover hit singles working alongside major acts like Craig David, Jay Sean, Austin Mahone, and Jason Derulo. His music has garnered numerous top awards and nominations along the way. Now, almost ten years after his earlier Hardwell studio sessions series, the award-winning producer will once again be sharing his wealth of knowledge and experience direct to fans via his official YouTube channel.
