The Award winning Weekend Festival has fast established itself as one of the best electronic festivals in Europe and is considered the best party of the year in Finland. Over the last decade, it has welcomed more than 850 artists, over 840,000 visitors from more than 50 different countries and has been held not only in Finland but also in Estonia and Sweden. It is an unforgettable two days for those who seek the adrenaline rush of live performances but also look for a comprehensive experience that includes visual arts, interactive installations, and the companionship of like-minded music lovers.

Weekend Festival welcomes 20,000 people to the Vermo Arena - a famous horse racing track venue. It is a great setting with plenty of nearby accommodation options, and is accessible from local train and tram stations just 10 minutes away from Helsinki city centre. It comes alive with next level production, world class sound systems, immersive lights and plenty more. This year Weekend Festival will cater for 18+ attendees only.

Weekend Festival continues to uphold a remarkable reputation by offering the largest-scale electronic music event ever witnessed in Finland, backed of course by top level production. This significant investment in the festival’s production is also reflected in the event's appeal, the pre-sale registrations exceeded 15,000—a number that greatly surpasses the registration figures of previous years. The limited availability of tickets further highlights the festival's exclusivity and high demand.

Says Marketing Director Atro Anttila, "We definitely think that going back to our roots was exactly the right direction for us. Electronic music is again clearly growing internationally, and Weekend Festival is the only festival of this scale in Northern Europe where you can get such a comprehensive electronic dance music experience. Coming back to Espoo felt like a warm homecoming. With our finger on the pulse of the latest trends and an ear for the globe's hottest beats, we are ready to amplify the energy and bring the most electrifying parties to Northern Europe. Get ready for an even more vibrant, bass-dropping, and unforgettable festival journey as we continue to cater exclusively to the most passionate adult fans of the electronic music scene."

This year the theme is 'Disco Nation' and there will be three impressive stages to choose from; WKND Stage which offers more mainstream sounds, the Future Stage which deals in hardstyle and drum & bass, and CNNCT Stage which offers techno and tech house. As well as that there will be plenty of food areas, an indoor VIP space and VIP Tribune.

Musically, all bases are covered with EDM superstars Timmy Trumpet and Showtek, joined by cutting edged selectors such as Boris Brejcha whose label Fckng Serious will take over The Future Stage on Friday and will feature a set from the man himself as well as Ann Clue, Deniz Bul, Moritz Hofbauer and Frieder & Jakob. Also playing will be Brennan Heart, Da Tweekaz, Sub Zero Project, Tungevaag and Will Sparks.

Added on December 4th are further legends such as Norwegian hit maker Alan Walker, pioneering trance star Tiësto, hardstyle heavyweight Coone and influential house innovators Wade, Miane and Dion Visser.

Weekend Festival is like nothing else in Finland and is an experience not to be missed.

A STATE OF TRANCE UNVEILS FULL ‘DESTINATION’ ROTTERDAM LINE-UP

Armin van Buuren’s A State of Trance reveals an awe-inspiring line-up for their inaugural Rotterdam edition, adding Argy, Ben Hemsley, Benwal, Colyn, Cosmic Gate, Eva Vrijdag, HI-LO, Innellea, Maddix, nilsix and 8KAYS among many others.

After lifting the tip of the veil on the line-up during Amsterdam Dance Event, A State of Trance has now revealed all of the performing acts at its inaugural edition in Rotterdam, DESTINATION. A staggering 57 artists have been revealed for the two-day event in February, catering to demand across the musical spectrum.

Armin van Buuren will be performing on both Friday and Saturday, with special plans in the making for each set. Additionally, the event will see iconic trance acts such as Cosmic Gate, John O’Callaghan and nilsix return, as well as new generation making waves within the genre by way of Ben Hemsley, Benwal and Eva Vrijdag taking the stage. A State of Trance DESTINATION will also play host to various subgenres, with Colyn, Innellea and Mees Salomé representing their ethereal sound while HI-LO, Maddix and MORTEN provide a harder alternative. Notably, NWYR - W&W’s alter ego, known for their thumping take on trance music - will be making a comeback, adding an exciting climax to the weekend.

With the move to Rotterdam, A State of Trance is at the dawn of a new chapter in its existence. Throughout the past two decades, Van Buuren’s brand has always  managed to stay relevant and the DESTINATION line-up is a testament to their capabilities. The line-up sees the return of icons of the trance scene, as well as offering a platform for the artists that are drawing in the future generation. All the while, A State of Trance continues to include alternative subgenres that seamlessly connect with the core of the brand.

A State of Trance is expanding in multiple directions in 2024, growing from a single day event to a weekender as well as introducing a daytime programming and the A State of Trance Hotel. Tens of thousands of (inter-)national fans are expected to descend on Ahoy Rotterdam on Friday for what will go down in history as the first page in A State of Trance’s next chapter.

EXIT 2024 BRINGS AN ADDITIONAL FESTIVAL DAY AND A NEW NAME FOR ITS MAIN STAGE IN HONOR OF NIKOLA TESLA!

EXIT Festival has just announced the theme of its upcoming edition called STARSEEDS. Exit's Star Children from over 120 countries around the globe will gather for a summer pilgrimage at Petrovaradin Fortress next year! The upcoming festival edition will be an invitation to awaken and unleash the potential of every individual, where each of us will have the opportunity to reach our unique purpose, under the motto - Let's awaken our superpowers together!

Under this slogan, the 24th edition of EXIT festival will take place, during which, in honor of our and the world's most famous inventor, futurist, and visionary, the main stage will be given a new name - Tesla Universe! The next edition of the EXIT festival will be held from July 11th to 14th, 2024, whist the day zero, July 10th, will celebrate Nikola Tesla's birthday with a special Starseeds Takeover performance at the previously mentioned Tesla Universe stage – honoring the most significant inventor who has left an indelible mark on the world we live in today.

For centuries, human history has produced unique souls, visionaries, and revolutionaries with a mission to change the world for the better with the spark of their inner light. Figures like Leonardo Da Vinci, Martin Luther King, Frida Kahlo, Michelangelo, Clara Zetkin,  and many others embody the essence of creation, they carry the wisdom of ages within them and the seed of inspiration that ignites the imagination of dreamers who come after them. They remind us that we are all interconnected, part of a cosmic symphony resonating throughout the universe.

We live in a time when each of us has the potential and the opportunity to achieve greatness and, gathered with like-minded individuals, raise the consciousness of humanity as a whole, creating unity, peace, and love among people. With this goal in mind, we will once again gather at the Fortress to, through the power of unity, awaken our hidden strengths and our own superpowers.

Nikola Tesla has always stood far ahead of his time, a beacon of innovation whose brilliance transcends the boundaries of conventional thought. In the annals of history, he is revered not only as an inventor and scientist but also as a true child of the stars whose insights and creations illuminate the path toward a future woven with harmony among people. The high-frequency energy of unity at the upcoming EXIT festival edition will leave an indelible mark and make a leap towards positive change, unity, sincerity, and closeness, celebrating the Star Children and visionary figures, which is why the main festival stage will bear the name Tesla Universe Stage, in honor of the scientist who perhaps left the brightest mark in history.
