Phase One of this year’s line-up is a mouthwatering list of world class and carefully curated names including Adam Ten, AJ Christou, Anja Schneider, Chus, Dana Ruh (live), Doc Martin, Eli & Fur, Fleur Shore, Harry Romero, Ilario Alicante, Kevin Saunderson, Loco Dice, Robag Wruhme, Roy Rosenfeld, Shimza and Tiefschwarz amongst many more. 

 

Since its debut back in 2016, SXM Festival has remained focused on curating lineups that unite legendary names and emerging acts alike from far-reaching corners of the globe. Some of clubland’s most celebrated selectors and live acts descended on St. Martin and that will be the case again in 2024. 

 

This year, the week-long SXM Festival will elevate the festival experience to all new heights. Attendees are invited to design their own experience for three to seven days of magical memories. SXM Festival is a place where individuality is embraced and you’re free to reflect your own unique spirit as you discover this tropical island getaway with an electrifying electronic soundtrack that plays out day and night next.

The island boasts a stunning array of beaches, lush rainforest dancefloors, beautiful villas, boat parties, and beach clubs so your non-stop fun runs from sunrise to sunset. The music plays out at a variety of unique venues filled with mesmerising hand-crafted decor and arty design.

Although there are brand new and exciting venues coming this year, the famous centre of SXM Festival is Happy Bay from Wednesday to Sunday. It is a secluded private beach nestled in the jungle and home to the iconic Arc Main stage and the immersive Ocean stage. Other highlights are a series of day parties to choose from

including Boho Beach, the infamous Villa Party on Saturday and limited capacity Satellite Parties, including the Boat Party with DJs soundtracking the epic voyage, along with the now world renowned Panorama party, where party at the peak of Sint Maarten's highest mountain with breathtaking 360-degree views. More day parties will be announced soon, with secret villa parties to be discovered. 

 

This edition brings a  special partnership with the globally renowned Anjunadeep who will be hosting an epic sunrise party on the shores of Boho Beach on March 14th. Zero NYC, the city's renowned party promoter, is also teaming up with SXM Festival to bring you a truly enchanting sunrise party at Boho Beach on March 17th.

A STATE OF TRANCE ANNOUNCES FIRST ACTS FOR INAUGURAL EVENT IN ROTTERDAM

Armin van Buuren’s A State of Trance has announced the first phase of artists for the first edition in their newly adopted home base, Rotterdam. Armin van Buuren, Cosmic Gate, Ferry Corsten, HI-LO, Laura van Dam, Maddix and MORTEN are just a few of the first names.

A State of Trance, the iconic music event curated by Armin van Buuren, has unveiled the initial roster of artists for its highly anticipated 2024 edition in their newly adopted home base, Rotterdam. Armin van Buuren, along with trance music luminaries Cosmic Gate, Ferry Corsten, HI-LO, John O’Callaghan, Laura van Dam, Maddix, and MORTEN, are among the first wave of acts revealed. Notably, A State of Trance 2024 marks the return of NWYR after a five-year hiatus. The inaugural event in Rotterdam will also see Armin van Buuren perform on both days with a unique set full of surprises planned for each.

With the announcement of phase 1 of the line-up, A State of Trance is welcoming back many of its fan-favorites, the acts that have shaped the event over the years. Fans can keep their eyes peeled on the A State of Trance channels over the following weeks as the rest of the programme is revealed step by step, expect A State of Trance debutants, exclusive back-to-back sets and a whole new daytime 

Back in June it was announced that A State of Trance will be leaving their base in Utrecht in 2024, moving to Rotterdam for the very first time. In addition to the change in location, A State of Trance will be expanding into a two-day event including extensive daytime programming complementing two nights of the indoor festival. Visitors will be able to attend masterclasses, panels, artists meet & greets, pre-parties and many other activities throughout the day in and around the A State of Trance Hotel, which will serve as the weekend’s central hub.

To ensure an unparalleled experience, A State of Trance introduces the A State of Trance Hotel, taking over the Room Mate Bruno Hotel for the entire weekend. This exclusive hotel will host many of the daytime activities, making it the official hub for the event. The US editions’ lineup exemplifies DGTL’s forward-thinking sonic curation, featuring performances by a diverse range of internationally renowned artists including Danish trio WhoMadeWho’s new live show concept. The innovative stage design for the trio’s show features an inflatable sphere projecting three-dimensional curated visual systems, designed in collaboration with leading design firms including acclaimed Danish architecture group, Bjarke Ingels Group (BIG). Receiving widespread critical acclaim for their recent album UUUU, WhoMadeWho continue to showcase the emotive nature of their sound and their transcendental live performances. The lineup continues with German deep house veteran and composer Henrik Schwarz, known for seamlessly fusing elements of classical and jazz into his electronic performances as well as remixes for the likes of Coldplay and Michael Jackson as he goes b2b with Maeve labelhead Mano Le Tough. The Irish DJ and producer first gained notoriety for his debut album Changing Days, a melodic blend of modern disco and atmospheric house.

 

The lineup continues with South Korea’s Shubostar who has pioneered the Cosmic disco sound as of late, a melodic minimal tech set from Dutch brother duo Parallele in LA, and amapiano flag bearer AMÉMÉ, whose energetic sets are built upon tribal percussion, soulful vocals, and contemporary deep house as he goes b2b Swedish techno powerhouse Ida Engberg in NYC.

 

As one of the world’s first sustainable music festivals, DGTL remains committed to reducing its carbon footprint through its sustainability initiatives, including offering plant-based food options onsite, extensive recycling programs, and elimination of single-use plastics and residual waste, setting a standard for festivals globally.
