UNDERGROUND QUEER TALENT TO TAKEOVER 2 EPIC BOAT PARTIES ON JUNE 25

Black dance music collective, Deep Root Records, which doubles as the record label run by internationally renowned DJ/producer Francis Mercier, has amassed a host of NYC’s underground queer nightlife communities to celebrate Pride with a massive day-into-night doubleheader party on Sunday, June 25. 

The two DeeperLove Yacht Parties will take place aboard the Jewel Yacht, a spacious, multi-floor vessel that will be complete with stunning views of the Brooklyn Bridge, the Statue of Liberty, and the beautiful New York City skyline. 

The first voyage, which will set sail at 1:00 PM, will feature a lineup curated by celebrated NYC selector Dada Cozmic. She’ll be joined by co-headliner and Body Hack resident Archangel, as well as Arrebato’s Undocubougie, Social Work’s Purp, and S’aint Panic. Returning at 5:00 PM, the Jewel will then embark on a sunset cruise at 6:00 PM, soundtracked by another elite team of DJs, including acid house mad scientist Biianco, forward-thinking producer Valentina Moretti (making her New York debut), Bina, E-mood, and Muse(O)Fire

SEISMIC DANCE EVENT ANNOUNCES LINEUP FOR 6.0 EDITION

Taking Place at The Concourse Project in Austin, Texas from November 10-12

Seismic Dance Event, the premiere boutique house and techno festival, has announced the lineup for its 6.0 edition at The Concourse Project in Austin on November 10-12. Seismic remains a leading name in the global underground dance movement, building its legacy on gathering world-class international musical talent in an intimate environment.

Headliners for the 2023 edition kick off the most impressive Seismic lineup to date, featuring patron saint of modern electronic music and mau5trap founder deadmau5, Black Book Records heavyweight and super producer Chris Lake, and storied mainstage icon Kaskade performing a Redux Set.

Veterans of the global dance scene will make their presence felt at Seismic this year, featuring AREA10 label boss MK, the iconic sounds of German producers Boys Noize and Loco Dice, and Dirtybird favorites Walker & Royce.

The heavier strains of techno have become a staple of the Seismic experience, which will come courtesy of breakout sensation Anfisa Letyago, the early 2000s influenced productions of Klangkuenstler, the relentless 999999999, and the hit-making Space 92. The more melodic variations of the 4/4 sound will be presented by Korolova, Franky Wah, Stephan Jolk, and Fideles.
 

DJ Tennis and Carlita’s Astra Club project pushes the lineup into the avant-garde, while the booms of the new house wave are felt from Australian export Wax Motif, chart-topper Eli Brown, and Norwegian brothers KREAM, plus Chris Stussy, VNSSA, Mau P, Azzecca, and Pawsa.

Seismic Dance Event will have two main stages, both indoor and outdoor - Volcano and Tsunami - each having their own distinct production elements and curation. Art installations, food trucks, and a multitude of surprises throughout the venue further Seismic’s position as the region’s most immersive electronic event to date.

The Concourse Project is a fifteen-acre venue run by the RealMusic Events team. The venue was recently ranked 39th in DJ Mag’s Top 100 Clubs list, while Seismic Dance Event was also nominated in the Best Boutique Festival category for DJ Mag’s Best Of North America awards series for 2023.

LA NIGHTLIFE PROMOTER STRANGER THAN; BRINGS FIRST-EVER MUSIC SERIES TO THE PETERSEN AUTOMOTIVE MUSEUM ROOFTOP

Featuring Eclectic Sets From Adam Ten and Dead-Tones

Electronic music has been deeply intertwined with automotive culture since its inception, from the futuristic visions of Detroit techno, to Germany’s post-war industrial landscapes and iconic Autobahn that went on to inspire the sounds and pace of Kraftwerk. Los Angeles nightlife powerhouse Stranger Than; seek to uncover this connection through a partnership with Petersen Automotive Museum, bringing the first-ever music programming to the institution’s design-forward rooftop for a series of events beginning July 2. 

Forward-thinking musical curation for the July 2nd event will be provided by Israeli rising star Adam Ten and LA’s own underground maven Dead-Tones, two of house and techno’s most respected selectors.

Never before used as a musical venue, the Petersen Automotive Museum has served as a Los Angeles cultural institution celebrating the artistry and innovation of the automobile industry since its founding in 1994. From vintage classics to modern supercars, the Petersen’s extensive collection of over 300 vehicles takes car enthusiasts on a captivating journey through automotive history. 

An architectural feat, the museum’s exterior stainless-steel ribbon facade will provide a unique backdrop for the rooftop show. Attendees of the Stranger Than; event will have the opportunity to purchase access to three floors of the museum, including the ‘We Are Porsche’ exhibit currently showcasing over forty one-of-a-kind Porsche’s in celebration of the storied marque’s 75th anniversary, before reaching the rooftop. 

The Petersen Automotive Museum shows exemplify Stranger Than;s reputation for producing events in never-before-used locales.Led by founder Tal Ohana, Stranger Than; is responsible for debuting numerous urban venues throughout Los Angeles, such as Grand Park on the steps of City Hall, El Pueblo in front of Union Station, Ace Mission Studios at the foot of DTLA’s 4th street bridge, and most recently Cabrillo Beach which saw the event collective host one of LA’s only electronic parties to take place beachfront. Stranger Than;s expert musical curation and innovative production have positioned them as the premier stateside partner for global institutions such as CircoLoco and famed Burning Man soundcamp Mayan Warrior.
