CLIMAX, the world’s first ever DJ Top 100 Global chart that is based on 100% real data, has set the dance music industry alight with the announcement of its revolutionary new algorithm during Miami Music Week. The event was a spectacular showcase of music, innovation, and technology, with Climax taking center stage as it unveiled its groundbreaking new approach to ranking the world’s most influential DJs. At the heart of CLIMAX’s revolutionary approach is a new algorithm that combines social media metrics, Beatstats scores, and streaming figures from across the board to provide a comprehensive and accurate ranking of the world's most influential DJs. All the data used for CLIMAX’s groundbreaking algorithm was sourced from the main electronic music DSPs and social media platforms, ensuring a diverse and global representation of artists from all corners of the world. The data used for the CLIMAX Top 100 2023 chart was analyzed from January 1, 2022, through December 31, 2022, providing a comprehensive snapshot of the most influential figures in the industry. 

During its debut Miami Music Week event at Okami, Miami, CLIMAX presented the launch of its innovative algorithm with a short presentation, followed by an awards ceremony and afterparty which featured performances from Leandro Da Silva, Ayko, and Top 100 DJ Majestic. The event was attended by some of the world’s leading DJs including Hugel, who earned the #35 spot, and Majestic, claiming #48, who were both present to collect their awards.
