ULTRA Worldwide’s esteemed underground concept RESISTANCE is heralded as the most international house and techno festival brand, boasting active events on all six inhabited continents.

RESISTANCE has evolved into a global powerhouse of underground curation since its inception in 2015, from programming stages at Ultra events in 35 cities internationally to organizing tours across Latin America and Asia. In 2017, RESISTANCE debuted its first-ever residency in Ibiza at the world’s largest nightclub Privilege, and has since welcomed house and techno heavyweights from around the world. The following year, RESISTANCE Ibiza was awarded the coveted title of ‘Best Ibiza Night 2018’ by DJ Awards in its sophomore season.

Following three banner years in Ibiza, Ultra recently announced the launch of RESISTANCE’s inaugural U.S. club residency in the festival’s beloved hometown of Miami Beach. RESISTANCE Miami will transport the fully-immersive Ibiza clubbing experience to America for the very first time at M2, the newly-minted nightclub in the heart of the Art Deco District.

RESISTANCE Miami has unveiled the first crop of Season 1 headliners, showcase the world’s most in-demand house and techno talent (SEASON 1 BILLING FORTHCOMING, UNDER EMBARGO UNTIL ONE HOUR BEFORE ANNOUNCE).

RESISTANCE’s M2 club residency will kick off during Miami Music Week on Thursday, March 23 with Adam Beyer’s highly-regarded imprint Drumcode for their official label takeover. Founded in 1996, Adam Beyer has developed Drumcode into one of the most recognized techno labels in the world. Consistently one of Beatport’s top-selling labels, Drumcode has delivered unrelenting releases from a variety of international acts in addition to hosting a number of label showcases around the globe.  The forthcoming Miami Music Week event between Drumcode and RESISTANCE will offer fans a once-in-a-lifetime experience at the city’s hottest new venue M2.

On Friday, March 24, RESISTANCE will host British underground legends Sasha and John Digweed for the duo’s exclusive Miami Music Week performance. The dance music titans have spent the last 30 years at the forefront of progressive soundscapes globally, and have remained staple headliners at RESISTANCE’s Ibiza residency and various worldwide events since 2015. The pair will continue their long-standing relationship with Ultra’s revered underground concept serving as one of the debut headliners for RESISTANCE’s first season at M2, with more acts to be announced.

RESISTANCE will round out Miami Music Week with another scintillating underground event on Saturday, March 25, and the Official MMW Closing Party on Sunday, March 26, with headliners yet to be announced.

Following the Miami Music Week launch of the U.S. club residency, RESISTANCE will host various Race Week events at M2 from Friday, May 5 through Sunday, May 7, 2023.

In the fall, RESISTANCE will continue its Season 1 programming at M2 with weekly Saturday parties, kicking off Halloween weekend on Saturday, October 28 and running through the Closing Party on Saturday, May 11, 2024

The debut season of RESISTANCE Miami promises to curate an elevated nightlife experience for both VIP guests and dance floor denizens, soundtracked by the world’s most celebrated house and techno maestros.

Previously home to Mansion, the historic 35,000 square ft venue at 1235 Washington Avenue recently underwent a massive multi-million dollar renovation. Across two cavernous floors, M2 will transport RESISTANCE’s signature, stadium-smashing production to a more intimate, sultry club atmosphere.

Returning for its second year to the Queen Mary Waterfront, just south of Los Angeles, Day Trip Festival is set to make waves across Southern California this June 24-25, 2023. For two days, headliners will dance under the sun and soak up the fresh open air during the region’s premier house music festival. For the first time in three years, marking a historical moment for the city of Long Beach and the famed ocean liner, the Queen Mary will reopen for overnight hotel stays during Day Trip Festival. In partnership with Vibee, festival goers may purchase weekend travel packages, complete with on-board cabin accommodations and access to pre-parties and after-parties taking place aboard the ship.

Although Day Trip Festival is now in its third year, the announcement of its return to Southern California comes at a peak in the cultural relevance of the house music genre, as a result of recent major albums from Drake, Beyonce and more.

Two-day tickets to Day Trip LA, as well as travel packages on board the Queen Mary so attendees never have to leave the party are on sale at daytripfest.com this week. Fans can sign up online for the Day Trip Family presale, receiving first access to tickets this Thursday, March 2. Tickets will become publicly available this Friday, March 3 at 12 p.m. PT.

Most important to Insomniac and Day Trip is the fan experience. Fueled by the feedback during last year’s sold out debut at the Queen Mary waterfront, the festival has made significant experiential and operational improvements for fans to more comfortably enjoy their time on the Day Trip dance floor. Festival goers that book weekend accommodations on board the Queen Mary will be able to travel to and from their rooms throughout the festival, while VIP ticket holders will have access on board to explore the ship. The VIP festival experience will also debut a new, elevated viewing deck and have Espresso Martinis available on tap. Fans can also expect additional shade structures, providing cooler places to relax throughout the day, along with an increase in the size of the dance floor at the High Tide stage. Tickets to the after-parties on the Queen Mary rooftop deck will also be available for purchase to all attendees.

Day Trip Festival has also partnered with the city to arrange for pre-paid parking spaces in the Downtown Long Beach area. Fans are encouraged to secure their spot in advance, which will allow for a quick and seamless parking experience with guaranteed space in the lot of their choice.

Day Trip was created in the summer of 2018 with a simple premise: House Music All Day Long! Its open-air day parties on the patio of Academy LA in Hollywood have since become a tradition for house heads of all kinds, as the packed crowds dance past sunset to the best veteran and upcoming house DJs, sipping Day Trip's signature fishbowls among tropical decor and palm trees. In 2021, Day Trip upped the ante with the inaugural Day Trip Festival, a two-day, two-stage gathering in Southern California. Its nocturnal counterpart, Night Trip, also takes the same house music love to the clubs until the late hours. Now, Day Trip Festival is in year three, promising the best festival experience to date.

As a curator and authority of house music, Day Trip Festival has previously showcased some of the best tastemakers of the genre. Fisher, MK, John Summit, Lane 8, Artbat, Diplo, Chris Lorenzo, Meduza, Sofi Tukker, and LP Giobbi, among many others.

Tickets for the 21+ Day Trip Festival go on sale to the general public this Friday, March 3 at 12 p.m. PT at daytripfest.com
