The 2023 Season Warm Up

The days are getting longer, winter darkness is lifting and everyone is already dreaming of that first dance in Ibiza. Once again this year it is Amnesia's flagship Pyramid party that will provide that much needed release as part of the IMS weekend on April 28th. The entire industry will be on the island for the influential conference and that’s what makes this first party of the season so special and full of energy and excitement ahead of Pyramid´s full 18 week season announcement soon after. 

Last year's was an early highlight with its own special vibe and this year's will be no different with Luciano b2b Arapu, Cuartero and Layla Benitez playing the Terraza and Amelie Lens, Klangkuenstler, Luca Donzelli and Mathias Kaden all playing the Main Room. This exclusive event will sell out fast so get your tickets.

2022 was one of Amnesia’s most successful seasons. The club welcomed hundreds of thousands of party people all keen to get their slice of the unrivalled experience the Ibiza powerhouse offers. As well as new tech developments there was another step up with fresh production and of course line-ups and residences that were second to none.

2023 will be another season of innovation but first is a warm up event with Pyramid, the in-house night that is now recognised around the world. It is a staunchly underground and music lead party where carefully curated and internationally acclaimed headliners play next to homegrown Ibiza talents. 

Lined up for this one on the Terraza is a very special back to back that sees Cadenza boss and long-time electronic innovator Luciano pair off with minimal king Arapu, then comes the Spanish legend and Amnesia mainstay Cuartero and New York rising star Layla Benitez. The Main Room, meanwhile, welcomes Belgian powerhouse Amelie Lens, the Berlin techno sounds of Klangkuenstler, resident Luca Donzelli and Watergate's Mathias Kaden. 

This party is a great way to wet the rave whistle before the full-blown season opener which will be revealed soon, as will details about the mouthwatering 18-week season to commence.

Caprices Festival's landmark 20th anniversary edition is fast approaching and now unveils its final and full line up. Playing in the Swiss mountains of Crans-Montana across the two unmissable weekends of April 7-9th and April 14-16th will be new additions including a ground breaking Agoria presents One Life Two Bodies show, Claptone, Dubfire presents Evolv, Bedouin, Osunlade, Satori(live), TSHA, Peredel, Andhim, Anfisa Letyago, Tripmastaz, Yulia Niko and Djaax all join previous names such as Jamie XX, Fatboy Slim, Black Coffee, ARTBAT, DJ Tennis, Jeff Mills, Zip, Loco Dice b2b Seth Troxler, Luciano b2b Ricardo Villalobos, Richie Hawtin, Sven Väth, Arapu b2b Gescu, Archie Hamilton, Raresh, Sonja Moonear and many more.

Switzerland’s breathtaking Crans-Montana resort - which has become culturally significant around the world once more thanks to Caprices - is the famous home of this unrivalled mountain-top festival. It provides an unreal backdrop to what is an experience unlike any other with its mix of world class music, cutting edge audio-visual technology, luxury gastronomy, an eco-museum, mountain activities, spa and wellness centres and of course over 100km of snowy paradise and a snow park for skiers and snowboarders to explore. 

That music comes this year on five stages split across day and night, each with its own carefully curated sound and bespoke look, rich mix of performing arts such as dancers, actors and art installations and many more surprises. Daytimes are all about the famous greenhouse that is Modernity Stage 2,200m up the Swiss Alps, while adjoining The Club stage has sweeping views over the alps. When night falls, The Moon Stage is a core part of Caprices festival with its innovative audiovisual production, while the Forest Stage is a fully themed and escapist trip into towering alpine forests. The Dome Stage completes the picture with more high-level audio visuals.

In terms of the final line-ups, Weekend One (April 7-9th) will now feature Bedouin, Satori(live), TSHA, Adolpho & Franky, Aracil, Djaax, Dymos & Shizzo b2b Jay Fase, Healdreams, Jad Alexander, Ła Foret, Mario Persic, Megablast, Osunlade, Peredel, Raphael Graham, Rolbac, TT, Vincent and Yulia Niko. These arrive on top of Jamie XX, Fatboy Slim, Black Coffee, ARTBAT, Monolink (live), Adriatique, DJ Tennis, Blond:ish, Who Made Who (live), 8Kays, Amine K, Brina Knauss, Fiona Kraft, Layla Benitez, Magda, Modal Tune (Guti b2b Sarkisi live), Themba and YokoO. 

Weekend Two adds a Agoria presents One Life Two Bodies show in which the French multi-disciplinary artist and DJ create a conceptual "Agoriaverse".  It is a link between our physical and our digital bodies in which dancers will be able to scan a QR code that will trigger experiences including the live minting of an NFT. 

He is joined by Claptone, Dubfire presents Evolv, Andhim, Anfisa Letyago, Apoteoz, Dan Ghenacia, Flabbergast, Flyuko, Fraderik, Giorgia Angiulli, Lidlaw, Lea Kadoche, Manolo, Nesta, Nicolas Duvoisin, Olivia, Roman, Romano, Tripmastaz and Vito. They play alongside first wave names Jeff Mills, Loco Dice b2b Seth Troxler, Zip, Luciano b2b Ricardo Villalobos, Richie Hawtin, Sven Väth, Arapu b2b Gescu, Archie Hamilton, Cobblestone Jazz (live), Djerry C, East End Dubs, Janeret, Manda Moor, Miroloja, O.Bee b2b Tomas Station, Raresh and Sonja Moonear.

Lastly, the Sunday afterparty on Weekend One will be hosted by UNKNOWN tribe, a brand from Geneva that deals in stylish melodic house direction, and Weekend Two's host is Zurich brand Under The Tree that is known for its organic and hypnotic sounds.

Each Thursday from 11 May to 29 June, then from 31st of August to the 28th of September, the likes of Paul Oakenfold, Tall Paul, Seb Fontaine, Dave Pearce, Lange, and many other legends of the era will all lineup and tickets are on sale now.  

Last summer’s hugely popular Kevin & Perry parties at Amnesia are still being talked about now, which is why One More Time Ibiza is back with a brand new season this summer. It is set to be a wide eyed and brightly coloured celebration of the early dance music scene. Each party sparks every raver's retro synapses with a special community feel and reach for the lasers kind of energy.  

Featuring music and DJs from yesteryear, this feel-good party will have you yearning for the late '90s and early noughties which many rightly say is the golden era of house and trance. Acts from past editions have included Mauro Picotto, Tall Paul, Dave Pearce, Slipmatt, Vicky Devine, Alfredo, and Jonathan Ulysses and this year the thrills keep on coming with Paul Oakenfold, Tall Paul, Seb Fontaine, Dave Pearce, Lange, and many more very familiar Ibiza faces.
