L'ASTRAL BECOMES LE STUDIO TD

As of yesterday, L’Astral undergoes a name change and will now be known as Le Studio TD. Thanks to a partnership between L’Équipe Spectra and TD Bank Group, the famous venue located at 305 Sainte-Catherine Street West will take action for social change by offering an inclusive platform to emerging local artists, while continuing to host several concerts throughout the year.

“Music plays a key role in our communities and in our lives. It brings us together and creates memorable experiences. We’re very proud to confirm our support of the music scene and to simultaneously help artists of all styles to make their dreams come true,” says Sylvie Demers, Chair, Quebec Market, TD Bank Group.

“We are privileged to be able to count on the support of TD Bank Group, which offers artists and artisans a platform to hone their skills and grow in popularity. We thank them for their commitment, which will transform the local music scene,” says France Margaret Bélanger, President, Sports and Entertainment, Groupe CH.

A Wind of Change on the Montreal Music Scene
In addition to being able to welcome large audiences for concerts of all kinds, Le Studio TD will contribute to building a more inclusive future for new singers and musicians. The emerging local music community in all its diversity will be celebrated and will get to grow in this environment, which will allow them to showcase their art in ideal conditions.

The inauguration of Le Studio TD happens just as a new initiative is launched to significantly support artists: Série Libre presented by TD. Over the next few months, this three-part project will give several artists free access to Le Studio TD to record a video about their life, a concert to get closer to their fans, as well as a professional recording of a song. This exceptional framework will contribute to kick-starting the music career of these young artists, exposing their work to more people. The 2022 lineup of Série Libre presented by TD will be announced soon.
