Throughout the months of March and April, the remainder of Nurko’s tour sees him touching down in a plethora of states across America. Noteworthy festival highlights include late March’s Beyond Wonderland in San Bernardino, California, in addition to Ubbi Dubbi in Dallas, Texas the following month. The bass music stalwart is then set to close out his tour on April 29th at New York’s famed Webster Hall, marking his much-anticipated return to the city and venue since last October’s performance opening for Dabin.

As ‘Arrival’ is slated to be a fully immersive musical experience, Nurko has finally released the true meaning and backstory behind his work and signature raindrop symbol leading into its imminent release. Placing an emphasis on three main pillars, ‘The Symbol’, ‘The Story’, and ‘The Meaning’, Nurko provides fans with fully detailed backgrounds on each —

The Symbol - “From afar, the NURKO symbol represents a water drop. Up close, it represents humanity united. The Seven pillars represent the seven continents of the world. Also shaped like a teardrop, the symbol STANDS FOR the emotion that music has the power to evoke in all of us. NURKO represents all of us. NURKO is Unity. NURKO is togetherness.”

The Story: Pt 1 - Arrival - “A phenomenon occurs as seven unidentified pillars make their landings on each continent of the world. Those who bear witness to a pillar’s landing embark on a journey to find the exact location. Along the way, these individuals discover their greatest strengths.”

The Meaning - “Music is freeing. It is an escape. It is transformative and renewing. It is hope. More than that, music is a universal language that can unite many. The symbol of NURKO represents this power found only in music—bringing people together and helping them through the journey of life. NURKO represents something that is not just one person, but all of us. We are NURKO.”

DON DIABLO DROPS SOULFUL SINGLE 'FACE TO FACE' FT. WATTS OUT NOW ON HEXAGON

Don Diablo kicks off 2022 in style with the release of ‘Face To Face’ ft. Watts – out now on HEXAGON.

For his first single of the year Don veers away from the club, opting for an uplifting, soulful tune. Showcasing the softer, more melodic side to his productions, ‘Face To Face’ is further proof of the consummate producer’s limitless ability to seamlessly transition between genres, whilst still capturing his signature sound.

Don Diablo: "I wanted to kick off 2022 with a soulful tune to kill the winter blues. When I heard Watts' track "Feel" with Khalid last year I immediately put him at the top of my vocalist wishlist so I am very happy things came together so quickly. Also very excited to have another co-write in the bag with the supremely talented Elderbook with whom I collaborated on my single "Bad" ft. Zak Abel. Due to the pandemic and the ongoing lockdown situation in my country I decided to produce and direct an up close and personal music video myself, showcasing a day in my life walking and biking through the empty streets of my hometown Amsterdam. It also features a little cameo of my latest art piece that is currently exhibited at the Moco Museum, connecting my work as a musician with my work as a (digital) art creator."

With 2021 undoubtedly one of his most momentous years of his illustrious career to date, what some could only dream to achieve in a lifetime is a year in the life of Don Diablo. Don’s contribution to the electronic music, art and design communities over the last year has been nothing short of phenomenal. First entering the NFT space back in March last year, Don has been disrupting the scene ever since with his astounding digital/physical hybrids. In just under a year, the Dutch visionary has earned his place as one of the highest-averaging artists in the community, sold his first piece at his debut Art Basel, and has collaborated with pioneering global platforms and auction houses such as SuperRare and Sotheby’s, not to mention exhibiting pieces at PACE Gallery and MOCO Museum. In addition to his musical and digital art endeavours, the talented Dutchman also saw ambitious new projects alongside Star Wars, Disney and the United Nations come to fruition. Looking ahead to 2022, the future house maestro will be returning to the dancefloor, with three headline shows in the US next February, as well as a number of other shows in the pipeline.

GHEIST UNVEIL MUSIC VIDEO FOR ‘WE ARE NOT ALONE’ PROMOTING AWARENESS AROUND MENTAL HEALTH

The Music video aims to drive awareness around the subject of Mental Health in a reflection of the past 18+ months

Following on from their essential Zukunft album on their own Radau Music label in November, GHEIST now serves up a hugely poignant new video for 'We Are Not Alone.' The video touches on the subject of mental heath, which is close to the German pair's heart as they recently lost a close friend and tour manager due to suicide.

The album explored a world of emotional, colorful, diverse, and delicately crafted electronic music with hints of melancholic optimism. This single is another standout that finds the duo really evaluate their sound and skills to new levels. It features their signature mix of breakbeats, beautifully crafted synthesizers and exciting vocals delivered with real melancholy. They touch on the difficulties of being alone while the video shows someone in isolation at home and looking lost.

Say the pair, "Coming out of these exhausting and strange past 18 month there appears to be a topic that has always been around us but seems now bigger than ever. We’ve been isolated, we’ve been alone and highly in danger of suffering from depression. It’s a matter of the heart for us to talk about this sad phenomenon and get loud about it. We just recently lost a close friend who committed suicide and no one saw it coming."

Stream: gheist - ‘zukunft’

"We see it as our duty as artists to point out this problem and create a safe place to open up and destigmatize mental illness as such and built awareness especially for people with suicidal tendencies. We are about to head into winter and we are still in a post-pandemic phase as a society. We should sensitize ourselves to those who need to be seen and make sure that no one feels alone or left behind. Please let us all take care of each other and make the time to listen because WE ARE NOT ALONE."

'We Are Not Alone’ carries a vital universal message that should be shared as far and wide as possible.
