ANGARA RELEASE TITLE TRACK FROM FORTHCOMING DEBUT ALBUM BEFORE WE FORGET

Teaming up with UK artist bailey, the French duo return with an emotive new single, and announce their long-awaited debut album due for release in February 2027.

Rising French electronic duo Angara release Before We Forget – a new collaboration with London-based singer-songwriter bailey, and the title track from their forthcoming debut album on Embassy One. The release marks the latest chapter in the duo’s evolving creative journey on the Berlin-based label, following Out at Sea and Forgive You, and arrives alongside the announcement that their debut album, Before We Forget, which will be released in February 2027.

Built around a euphoric groove, immersive textures and Angara’s signature melodic sensitivity, Before We Forget brings together the emotional depth that has defined the duo’s music with an increasingly pronounced focus. Atmospheric and introspective, yet driven by a steady sense of propulsion, the track captures a feeling of nostalgia and impermanence while remaining firmly rooted in the rapturous emotion of the club.

Taking its title from the album, the single became the first track Angara knew would form part of the record. Rather than serving as a blueprint for the album, however, it came to represent the emotional starting point from which the wider project would emerge.

Speaking about the single, Angara commented:

"Before We Forget is about the presence of a loved one you never actually met. Someone built entirely from other people's stories, who somehow keeps growing closer instead of fading away. You end up carrying them without ever having known them, naively doing things you hope they'd be proud of. It was the first track we knew would be on the album, not because everything else was written around it, but because it was the feeling we wanted to start with : A chapter about not knowing yet but going anyway."

The single follows Angara’s two previous releases on Embassy One, beginning with Out at Sea featuring Austrian vocalist Ren Ocean in late 2025. The cinematic single introduced a new creative chapter for the duo, exploring themes of first love, freedom and connection through glowing melodic layers and hypnotic percussion.

Earlier this year, Angara followed with Forgive You, a more club-focused cut featuring a vocal sample from Estonian-Swiss vocalist and songwriter Ingrid Lukas. Driven by a forward-pushing groove, the track explored reconciliation, emotional release and the transition from tension to peace, further establishing the balance between introspection and dancefloor momentum that runs through their work.

Now, Before We Forget opens the door to the wider world of Angara’s debut album. Created over the course of three years, the record brings together songs written during markedly different periods of the duo’s lives. Rather than following a linear progression, the album moves between different emotional states: the discovery of identity, its unravelling, and the process of learning to live with what remains.

Speaking about the upcoming album, Angara commented:

“Before We Forget moves between three states: discovering who you are for the first time, watching that unravel, and learning to live with what's left of it. We spent three years on it, and some of these songs were written in very different periods of our lives. That's why those states come back out of order in the album, the way they do in life. The title came last, once we saw that every track was trying to do the same thing: hold onto yourself while everything around you changes.”

For Angara, the album represents the culmination of years spent developing their distinctive approach to electronic music. Since their breakout Rwanda EP on Monstercat Silk in 2021, the French duo have amassed over 70 million streams worldwide and brought their immersive sound to stages across Europe. With Before We Forget, Angara expand that sonic world into their most ambitious project yet: an album about discovering yourself, losing parts of that identity and finding a way to carry them forward. At its heart is the same impulse that drives the title track: to hold onto something meaningful before it disappears, while continuing to move into the unknown.

MAHMUT ORHAN’S 19-TRACK ALBUM ‘3’ EMBRACES A NEW CHAPTER OF CREATIVE FREEDOM

Mahmut Orhan meriting his new album with the number three carries a significance that runs deeper than just a title. 3 is his third album, released in his 33rd year, arriving at a point where a decade of international growth has brought him closer to the artist he has always wanted to become. A record shaped by self-expression, spiritual growth and a deeper sense of assurance, reflecting an artist entering a new phase of creative freedom.

With 19 tracks to play with, Mahmut makes the most of the space he inhabits. The album features a diverse cast of collaborators including ZHU, Felix Raphael, Francis Mercier, Shimza, John Cala and Michael Ekow, alongside a run of more personal solo moments. The result moves through deep house, melodic electronics, indie dance and global influences, in the widest-ranging sound Mahmut has put together yet.

That breadth is established from the outset. Title track ‘Three,’ made with Berlin producer and vocalist Felix Raphael, pairs a tightly wound house groove with shimmering electro textures and a hypnotic vocal. It unfolds slowly instead of chasing an obvious peak.

Diving deeper into the vault of 3 the album moves between continents without losing its groove. Revealing the infatuating atmospheric ‘Transatlantic’ with Grammy-nominated American producer ZHU, and punchy percussive number ‘The Summit’ in alliance with Turkish duo Drumstone and Uk wavemaker Botan. ‘Gurbet’ with Afro Tech pioneer Shimza, Feri and Emir Taha treads tribal influences from below the equator. ‘Get Down’ with Francis Mercier swoops in on an all-low-slung bass and a looping, sultry vocal.

For Mahmut Orhan personally, 2026 has been a year of movement. He has taken his music from Coachella and Tomorrowland to Burning Man Festival, completed a 50-date global touring run across 20 countries, returned to Chinois Ibiza for a second residency, and brought his Homecoming concept to Istanbul in collaboration with travelling festival series ZAMNA. Crowned by his debut entry into the Top100 DJs Poll at #42.

It's the latest chapter in a decade-long run. Since breaking through with 2016’s ‘Feel’, Mahmut has built one of electronic music's most distinctive crossover catalogues, with 3 continuing that evolution, but with an even greater sense of ownership over the space he has created.

M07 RELEASES DANCE FUEL SINGLE ‘SUGAR RUSH’ OUT 23RD OCTOBER ON KEY FACTORY MUSIC

A second sweet slice of his live performance film ‘SIGNAL’ - Get it HERE
Premiered at Amsterdam Dance Event 22nd October, plus full EP early 2027

Enigmatic live artist/producer M07 returns with ‘Sugar Rush’, ‘a pop-edged melodic house single about appetite: wanting everything and staying for none of it.’ The track debuted in his ‘SIGNAL’ live performance film which sold out four screenings on Premiere Night at Amsterdam Dance Event at Koninklijk Theater Tuschinski. EU tour and YouTube release to follow, and a full EP due early 2027. ‘Sugar Rush’ is out now on his Key Factory Music imprint.

After escaping from war with family after a decade in Kyiv, LA-born, now Spain-based live artist/producer M07, named for the Kyiv–Warsaw highway out of Ukraine taken by millions in 2022, moved into full-on music production with his film ‘SIGNAL’, including his first single from the project, ‘Broken’, supported by DJ Mag, Numéro, METAL Magazine, Beatportal and more.

New single ‘Sugar Rush’: high energy (of course!) dance fuel with a dark edge as melodic synth arps take on an acid tinge amid hoover swoops and hooky vocal phrasing. M07 wrote it in his own voice, then realised he'd heard its story too often: the man who takes what he wants and leaves before morning. So he flipped it. Rewritten along with songwriter Deza, now the woman holds the power. She knows exactly what this is, and she's gone before the crash which follows the spike – the sweetness and sin. ‘Some songs are confessions. This one's an alibi.’ - M07

Co-writer Deza has recently written for INJI and Chelsea Cutler, and releases music as googly eyes, her project with Tove Lo and Flume on Pretty Swede Records.

More about M07: M07’s work is largely shaped by his years in Kyiv, from 2013 until the full-scale invasion began in February 2022. But music came long before and never stopped: Los Angeles dance radio was playing his tracks while he was still in high school, and over the next twenty-five years he wrote around three hundred more, shared only with friends. His debut EP, ‘KM0’, dropped February 2026.

In between, M07 successfully explored every side of the business except the stage: rave promoter in early-2000s Los Angeles (including producing what was then the West Coast’s largest drum-and-bass event, drawing around 5,000 people), talent buyer, booking agent, manager, software creator for the live music industry… Now, ‘SIGNAL’ is the culmination: darker, distorted, hardware-sourced, closer to what he was making in private all along.

A version of ‘Sugar Rush’ was also recorded at Peter Gabriel’s Real World Studios as part of M07’s ‘SIGNAL’ live performance film, produced by M07 and an elite team. Watch out for the film tour/online release and the full EP, as long-established multi-talent M07 takes centre stage at last.
