R3HAB ANNOUNCES NEW STUDIO ALBUM 'DREAM INSIDE A DREAM…’ ON UNIVERSAL

Dutch-Moroccan DJ and producer R3HAB today unveils his third studio album, Dream inside a dream…, his most personal and introspective body of work to date. Across twelve tracks, the album traces an emotional journey through love, loneliness, gratitude, self-discovery and acceptance, inviting listeners into the thoughts, memories and experiences that have shaped one of dance music's most recognizable artists.

More than a collection of songs, Dream inside a dream… is a reflection on what happens after the dreams you once chased become reality. As a teenager, Fadil El Ghoul dreamed of travelling the world through music. More than fifteen years later, after countless festival stages, billions of streams and collaborations spanning continents, he found himself asking a different question: What comes after the dream comes true?

Rather than seeking outward validation, Dream inside a dream… turns inward. Throughout the album, R3HAB explores themes of presence, vulnerability, identity and gratitude, balancing euphoric electronic production with intimate songwriting and deeply personal storytelling. The result is an immersive listening experience that captures both the highs and uncertainties of personal growth, celebrating not only life's defining moments but also the quiet reflections in between.

Each song on Dream inside a dream… represents a different emotional chapter, with its own distinct sonic identity.

The journey begins with an invitation to enter a space of openness and trust, shared by renowned meditation guide Jason Stephenson. This is followed by “I had a dream…”, where shimmering deep house textures, euphoric melodies and Izzy Bizu’s ethereal voice capture the fragile moment when a lifelong dream becomes reality. Filled with equal parts wonder and uncertainty, the track reflects the desire to preserve that feeling before it begins to fade, holding onto a reality that once felt impossible. That sense of wonder gradually gives way to introspection. The exploration of uncertainty continues with “Right here…” featuring Rhodes, where R3HAB takes the mic for himself for the first time to share a reflection on chasing fleeting moments. Uncertainty leads to self-reflection and honesty, with “Lost in translation…” bringing euphoric energy along with a sense of relief and acceptance.

At the emotional center of the album sits “More than enough…”, one of the record’s most uplifting moments. Opening with sparse, pulsing melodies before unfolding into glowing synth textures and soaring drops, the track transforms vulnerability into euphoria, celebrating the rare feeling of being fully seen and accepted for who you are.

In “All I am…”, R3HAB reconnects with his Moroccan roots, weaving authentic field recordings of traditional snake charmer flutes into an immersive electronic landscape and Orem’s plaintive vocal delivery. The melancholic solitude leads R3HAB to “Ghost town…”, which pairs groove-driven production with nostalgic undertones to explore loneliness and the search for inner peace. “Watch my heart go…”, again spotlighting Orem’s emotive vocals, balances dark atmospheres with explosive festival energy, capturing the emotional tension between vulnerability and desire.

Serving as the emotional centerpiece of the project, the title track “Dream inside a dream…” binds these motifs together with a reflection on the importance of continuing to dream while appreciating the life already unfolding around us.

Izzy Bizu reappears for “If I could stop time…”, where contemplative vocals and an atmospheric soundscape invite listeners to reconnect with themselves and appreciate the present instead of constantly chasing what comes next. The closing stretch embraces transition. “The last dance…” finds beauty in letting go through warm, emotionally driven production. Jason Stephenson returns to close the album in a final meditation, encouraging listeners to let go of things outside their control as they exit the world that R3HAB has designed for them to return to their own reality.

“'Dream inside a dream…' is the cornerstone of the album, which is out today. This song is a reminder to myself to keep dreaming, even when it feels like I've already lived so much of what I once imagined. As a kid I dreamed of success, and many of these early dreams have come true. The way that dreams inspire more dreams now has me feeling like I'm living a dream inside a dream. But life keeps giving, and every new season brings dreams of its own. This song is about staying present and being thankful for each one. Don't wake me up!” – R3HAB

With his third studio album, R3HAB invites listeners on an immersive and deeply personal listening journey. Across twelve emotionally connected chapters, Dream inside a dream… blends euphoric electronic music with intimate storytelling, creating a lasting portrait of the moments, emotions and experiences that define us.

Dream inside a dream… will be available from July 31 across all major streaming platforms.

The record will also be released as a physical vinyl edition, offering fans the opportunity to experience R3HAB's most personal project to date in both digital and physical form.

MITCH OLIVER RETURNS TO SLAPPED WITH ‘LET YOU GO’ FT. KEILIMEI

The Canadian label head returns with his latest original production, joined by a remix from Berlin-based DJ and producer Yulia Niko.

Following the release of its summer VA À Fleur de Son, Montréal-based imprint SLAPPED Records now turns the spotlight back to label founder Mitch Oliver with the release of his latest single, Let You Go. Featuring vocals from Hawaiian singer-songwriter Keilimei and a standout remix from Berlin-based producer Yulia Niko, the release brings together two distinct interpretations of a track built around emotion, groove and club functionality.

Let You Go continues the creative connection between Oliver and Keilimei, following their previous collaborations Paris Lovin’ with Tyler Mesa and Under The Moonlight  in 2025. With previous releases on respected imprints including Purified Records and Anjunadeep, Keilimei brings her emotive vocal style to the record, adding warmth and depth to Oliver’s latest production. Built around a rolling low end, restrained percussion and spacious melodic details, Let You Go explores the space between melodic songwriting and club functionality. Keilimei’s vocal sits at the centre of the arrangement, bringing an emotional depth that balances the track’s understated groove.

As both a producer and the founder of SLAPPED Records, Oliver has built the label around music that favours individuality over convention, championing records that leave an impression through groove, atmosphere and careful execution. Let You Go sits naturally within that philosophy, pairing understated songwriting with a refined club sensibility.

On remix duties, and available from July 24, internationally celebrated artist Yulia Niko brings a fresh perspective to the record, transforming the original into a more up-tempo, driving interpretation. Preserving the emotional core of Keilimei’s vocal, her remix introduces sharper rhythmic movement, hypnotic melodic layers and increased dancefloor momentum, offering a more energetic counterpart to Oliver’s original.

The release follows a busy period for SLAPPED Records, which has continued to expand through a steady stream of releases and an international event series. Connecting the label’s growing roster with dancefloors across Europe and North America, the SLAPPED Summer tour concluded with a homecoming showcase and Let You Go release party at NWHR in Montréal

ØTTA SHARES NEW SINGLE “GATA FINA” FEATURING FIAH

OUT NOW via HOTTIES

DEBUT ALBUM PELE DE MAR OUT SEPTEMBER 18

ØTTA has released “GATA FINA,” a new collaboration with Mendoza-born artist FIAH, out now via ØTTA’s own label and global party brand HOTTIES. The single is the latest preview of her forthcoming debut album PELE DE MAR, arriving this fall.

Driven by ØTTA’s signature high-energy, high-BPM production, “GATA FINA” pairs relentless club momentum with FIAH’s rapid-fire vocals. Her performance is flirtatious and commanding, with the repeated refrain “Papi, quiero que me des / Esta gata está en celo”—pushing the track’s uninhibited desire directly to the surface.

The collaboration brings together two artists whose work treats the dancefloor as a space for uninhibited self-expression. Deeply connected to electronic music and queer culture, FIAH builds a world defined by irreverence and complete creative freedom, with sensuality at the forefront. Her theatrical delivery locks effortlessly into ØTTA’s production, transforming the song into an exchange between physical intensity and larger-than-life character.

Born in Mendoza, Argentina, FIAH moves between music and fashion, drawing inspiration from artists including Madonna, FKA Twigs, Amy Winehouse and Doja Cat. Her live performances extend that vision through movement and stagecraft, creating immersive experiences in which the physical carries as much weight as the sound.

“GATA FINA” follows lead single “PULSO.,” one of the PELE DE MAR’s most euphoric moments, and continues to reveal the borderless sound of the album. The eight-track body-of-work traces the places, relationships and experiences that have shaped ØTTA throughout her life, moving from Lisbon and London to South America while capturing her evolution across more than a decade as an artist, producer and DJ.

PELE DE MAR Tracklist:
1. ØTTA - RIO
2. ØTTA - GATA FINA feat. FIAH
3. ØTTA - PULSO.
4. ØTTA - REBOLA DE SALTO feat. LUA DE SANTANA
5. ØTTA - 4X4 feat. BIBI BABYDOLL
6. ØTTA - FRIO
7. ØTTA - THAT SNACK
8. ØTTA - SAUDADE

PELE DE MAR also brings together a new generation of South American artists, with collaborations from Argentina's FIAH alongside Brazilian artists Lua de Santana and Bibi Babydoll. Having previously worked with Nathy Peluso, Lua joins ØTTA on "REBOLA DE SALTO," while Bibi Babydoll brings her unmistakable funk energy to "4X4," reinforcing the album's global outlook and cross-cultural perspective.

Before ØTTA broke through with her high-energy debut Plus One EP in 2020, music and art had been a constant thread throughout her life. She spent six years playing in an orchestra, later studying art and architecture, absorbing a language of symmetry, repetition, and structure that continues to define her approach. That instinct has carried through her breakout Boiler Room performance in Manchester and into HOTTIES, the label and event series she established to foster creativity in her community.

PELE DE MAR tells a story not just of ØTTA’s 12 years as a musician, but of her life until now: the places, people, and relationships that shaped her, and the layered experiences that make each person one of a kind. And if she has learned anything along the way, it is that the best way to be unique is to truly embrace yourself.

“GATA FINA” FT. FIAH is out now. PELE DE MAR arrives September 18.
