VICTOR RUIZ RELEASES FINAL SINGLE ‘TECHNICOLOR’ AHEAD OF DEBUT ALBUM

Out Now Across All Streaming Platforms

Victor Ruiz unveils ‘Technicolor’, the fourth and final single taken from his forthcoming debut album ‘VICTOR’. Arriving ahead of the full project’s release on July 10 via his own VOLTA imprint, the new record offers one last glimpse into Ruiz’s most ambitious body of work to date - a project that sees the Brazilian artist step beyond the boundaries of the techno sound that first established his name and into something far more expansive, personal and emotionally driven.

Across the rollout of ‘VICTOR’, Ruiz has gradually revealed different sides of that evolution. From the meditative stillness of ‘Silence’ and the vulnerability of ‘Alone’ to the uplifting release found within ‘Sundance’, each single has uncovered a new chapter in both the album’s narrative and Victor’s own creative journey. With ‘Technicolor’, those threads begin to converge. Arriving as the final single before the full LP lands, it feels like the moment everything opens up - larger in scale, broader in emotion and completely unrestrained in its intent.

Sonically, ‘Technicolor’ leans fully into that sense of expansion. Built around sweeping melodies, immersive synth work and driving percussion, the record unfolds with a feeling of constant momentum. Layers emerge and intertwine throughout, creating an atmosphere that feels enveloping from beginning to end. While traces of Victor’s electronic foundations remain present, the focus here is less on tension and release and more on emotion, movement and connection. It is a track designed to be experienced as much as heard - equally capable of filling a festival field or drawing the listener into its world through a pair of headphones.

Conceptually, ‘Technicolor’ represents a pivotal moment within the wider story of ‘VICTOR’. It captures the point where uncertainty gives way to acceptance - where the highs and lows, the contradictions and complexities, are no longer resisted but embraced as part of a larger whole. If ‘Silence’ represented a world viewed in black and white, ‘Technicolor’ is where colour finally arrives. Not as an escape from what came before, but as a result of it.

Arriving July 10, ‘VICTOR’ represents the culmination of a creative journey years in the making. While Victor Ruiz has built an international reputation through his contributions to electronic music's underground, the album offers a broader and more complete reflection of the artist behind the name. Drawing from a lifetime of musical influences and experiences, ‘VICTOR’ stands as his first true long-form statement - a bold and deeply personal work that signals the beginning of an exciting new chapter.

Victor Ruiz - VICTOR is available to pre-save now and will be released on all streaming platforms on July 10, 2026: https://volta.ffm.to/victor

DIRTWIRE REIMAGINE MONOLINK’S “MESMERIZED”

The American duo deliver an ethereal and deeply organic reinterpretation as part of The Beauty Of It All remix series on Embassy One

Following the release of Monolink’s acclaimed third studio album The Beauty Of It All last year, Berlin based label Embassy One continues its diverse remix series with a striking new interpretation of “Mesmerized” from American band Dirtwire. Following previous reworks from Maxi Meraki, Yamagucci and Curol, the remix series now takes a markedly different turn, stepping away from club-focused territory and into something more restrained, spiritual and cinematic.

Dirtwire’s remix of “Mesmerized” strips the original back to its emotional essence, reshaping the track through a rich palette of organic instrumentation and atmospheric textures. Built around the duo’s signature use of world instruments, including kamale ngonis, jaw harps, bowed strings, and space fiddles, the remix unfolds with a slow and meditative energy that feels both earthly and otherworldly. Rather than building toward dancefloor release, the track drifts through expansive sonic landscapes, inviting deep listening and introspection.

Known for blending ethnomusicology, psychedelic experimentation and electronic production, Dirtwire occupy a unique space where ancient instrumentation meets modern sound design. Their music draws influence from years of global travel and cultural exchange; from Brazil’s favelas and Lagos’ Shrine to ceremonies in Central America and traditional performances in Bali. The result is a sound the band variously describes as “back porch space cowboy blues,” “swamptronica,” and “electro twang.”

Dirtwire’s productions and live performances are rooted in exploration, combining West African kamale ngonis, jaw harps, bowed banjos, mouth harps and electric string instruments with modern beat production and immersive soundscapes. Emerging from the underground west coast electronic bass scene, the duo have become recognised for pushing the boundaries between live instrumentation and electronic music, creating experiences that feel communal, transportive and deeply human.

With their reimagining of “Mesmerized,” Dirtwire open an entirely new dimension within The Beauty Of It All remix series. Ethereal, spacious and emotionally resonant, the reinterpretation moves beyond conventional remix structures to become something closer to a spiritual transmission, reframing Monolink’s original through texture, atmosphere and organic expression.
