ŁASZEWO AND AVELLO UNITE FOR INTOXICATING VOCAL-LED MELODIC BASS SINGLE"HEADRUSH" VIA LOST IN DREAMS RECORDS

Santa Barbara’s breakthrough trio Łaszewo unites with Orlando producer and songwriter Avello for their new collab, an intoxicating vocal-led melodic bass offering underlining their crossover pop sensibilities.

Santa Barbara–formed trio Łaszewo and Orlando-based producer AVELLO collide on “headrush,” a luminous new single arriving via Lost In Dreams Records and Boom Records, which captures the disorienting rush of falling for someone before your feet ever touch the ground. Sitting at the crossroads of future bass and melodic bass, the collaboration feels immediate yet expansive—two distinct worlds snapping cleanly into focus the moment they meet.

Built around the unmistakable vocal presence from Łaszewo’s leading singer-songwriter, Kiki, “headrush” thrives on contrast and patience. Her delivery is soft-edged and intimate, carrying a sense of awe and vulnerability that mirrors the early stages of infatuation—where emotion outruns logic and every sensation feels heightened. The production unfolds deliberately, beginning as a slow-burning shimmer accented by light xylophone taps and airy orchestral flourishes, before surging into a widescreen release of pulsing melodic trap synths and tightly wound, suspense-driven drums. The payoff is euphoric without excess, cinematic without losing its emotional center.

Shedding light on how the collab came to be, AVELLO shares: “‘headrush’ was one of those ideas I kept coming back to over the weeks. I had this demo sitting on my computer for a while and wasn’t totally sure where to take it. I sent it over to Łaszewo just to see if they felt anything from it and it clicked almost immediately. Once Kiki laid her vocal on it, everything started coming together and we all kind of found the direction at the same time. It turned into this uplifting, emotional track with a really smooth melodic vibe that feels like a true blend of both of our styles. I am really proud of how we built this one together.”

The track reflects a natural creative alignment between the two acts. What began as a melodic sketch gradually evolved through shared intuition rather than force, with both sides shaping the direction together once the vocal fell into place. The result is a seamless blend of AVELLO’s emotionally-charged melodic instincts and Łaszewo’s polished, pop-forward songwriting—uplifting, fluid, and deeply felt.

For Łaszewo, “headrush” continues a breakout run that has positioned the trio as one of electronic pop’s most exciting rising forces. Their viral single “messy” became a cultural moment, racking up millions of streams, hundreds of thousands of UGC creations, and landing Top 10 Dance Radio, #1 US Spotify Viral, Top 10 Spotify Global, and a Top 20 Billboard placement. Follow-up releases like “3am” and “HIGHJACK (right back)”—the latter alongside A$AP Rocky and Alok—have further cemented their crossover appeal. On the live side, sold-out headline shows across San Francisco, Denver, and Chicago, a career-defining Red Rocks debut, and a debut UK and European tour spanning Germany, Spain, France, Switzerland, the Netherlands, and England have underscored the trio’s magnetic stage presence and global pull.

AVELLO brings equal momentum into the collaboration. A true triple threat—producer, songwriter, and DJ—he’s built a reputation for bridging heavy bass impact with melodic vulnerability. His relationship with Lost In Dreams includes earlier appearances on the ‘Gateway’ compilation series, while his broader catalog features collaborations with Adventure Club, Tinashe, Steller, juuku, and Sportmode. With support from genre heavyweights including ILLENIUM, Seven Lions, SLANDER, Excision, and NGHTMRE, and recent performances at festivals like EDC Orlando, AVELLO’s rise has been both rapid and deliberate.

On their collab “headrush,” the two high-flying forces distill that shared momentum into a single moment of clarity—an emotionally-charged release that leans into sensation, vulnerability, and the thrill of connection. It’s a natural fit for Lost In Dreams’ melodic ethos and the artist-forward philosophy adopted by Boom Records, resulting in a compelling snapshot of these artists meeting at exactly the right time.

Łaszewo’s Matthew Ehrlich, Keeva Bouley, and Justin De La Fuente originally came together in Santa Barbara, California under unexpected circumstances in 2018. When Justin heard Keeva singing through her open apartment window, he immediately knocked on her door and the rest was history. Since then, they have continued to rise and grow into one of the most exciting and dynamic electronic pop acts. Łaszewo’s 2025 has been off to a hot start with their viral breakout record “messy,” which has garnered millions of streams, hundreds of thousands of UGC, and continues to top the global, Billboard, and dance radio charts. Their follow up single, “HIGHJACK (right back)” with A$AP Rocky and Alok is an explosive and emotionally charged anthem that is already on track for similar global success. Additionally, the trio made their Red Rocks debut earlier this year with a performance that marked a career-defining moment and showcased their signature fusion of emotional songwriting and high-energy production. They are also on track for a sold out US fall run in San Francisco, Chicago, and Denver, as well as embarking on their debut EU tour in December. Łaszewo's two producer and female lead vocalist setup is unique to the electronic landscape. Their diverse talent, unique sonic identity, and charismatic stage presence continues to allow them to be a rising force in the electronic-pop scene and captivate audiences globally along the way in 2025.

AVELLO (Adam Lawrence) is a rising force in electronic music, seamlessly blending the roles of producer, songwriter, and DJ with a unique flair. Based in Orlando, he has quickly carved out his lane across the bass and melodic bass spectrum, building a loyal following with high-energy originals and emotionally charged productions that translate powerfully on stage. With support from some of the industry’s biggest names including ILLENIUM, Adventure Club, Subtronics, Excision, Slander, Seven Lions, Flux Pavilion, NGHTMRE, and Kaivon, AVELLO’s music has reached audiences worldwide. His catalog spans respected labels such as Subsidia, Circus Records, Lost In Dreams, and Bassrush—and his recent wave of viral releases has only amplified his momentum. Upcoming highlights include his official remix of “No Broke Boys”, the recent release of “Electric Love” on Thrive Music, and a slate of super exciting collaborations with some of electronic music’s biggest names. On the live front, AVELLO’s performances are just as explosive, with standout appearances at major festivals including EDC Orlando, Moonrise, Goldrush, and Forbidden Kingdom. With international debuts on the horizon and massive 2026 tour dates already confirmed (yet to be announced), his global footprint is expanding rapidly. Fueled by a relentless passion for pushing creative boundaries and connecting deeply with fans, AVELLO is cementing himself as one of the most exciting new names in dance music—poised for a breakout run on the world stage.

MIGRANT CLOSES OUT 2025 WITH POWERFUL NEW SINGLE “TARASE”

Featuring evocative Hindi vocals by Eeshita Rathore, Migrant’s final release of the year is an organic, emotionally grounded house cut rooted in love, preservation and a sense of place.

Renowned Indian DJ and electronic music producer Migrant closes out 2025 with “Tarase”, his final single of the year and a deeply personal statement that reflects a more intentional and focused evolution of his sound. Stripped back yet emotionally rich, the track leans into organic groove, subtle propulsion and spacious production, allowing feeling, texture and intention to lead.

Built on warm basslines, ethereal atmospheres and hypnotic rhythmic flow, “Tarase” unfolds patiently. At its core is a captivating vocal performance from acclaimed Indian vocalist Eeshita Rathore, whose Hindi phrases add intimacy and emotional weight. Intermittent male vocal textures from Migrant himself appear throughout the arrangement, enhancing its human quality without overpowering the groove. The track breathes through expansive moments of space before returning to its pulse, mirroring the natural ebb and flow that defines the release.

The title “Tarase” draws meaning from multiple linguistic and cultural interpretations. In Hindi, Taras evokes compassion, longing and emotional sensitivity; elsewhere, the word carries associations with character and spirit depending on context. Rather than a singular definition, “Tarase” represents feeling; something instinctive, unforced and deeply human.

That emotion is also closely tied to a place. “Tarase” comes from Migrant’s love for the Aravalli mountain range in north-western India; its fragile ecology, its people, its art and its centuries-old forts and palaces. To mark the release, Migrant and Eeshita performed the track within the Aravallis, allowing the landscape that inspired the music to become part of its expression. The project reflects a quiet call for preservation – of landscapes, of culture and of shared creative ecosystems.

Speaking about the single, Migrant commented:

“Tarase comes from love. Love for the Aravallis – especially now, when their state is so fragile. Love for its landscape of immense beauty – one we risk harming if we’re not mindful. Love for its art, its people and its heritage. Love for the forts, palaces and the stories they carry. At its core, this project is about preservation – of places, of culture, of each other.”

Throughout 2025, Migrant has explored a wide range of tempos, sounds and emotional palettes; from introspective and meditative to bass-heavy, breaks-driven experimentation. “Tarase” brings those explorations to a close with clarity and intention, marking the beginning of a more defined Migrant identity, where beats, bass and rhythm serve something deeper than the dancefloor alone.

STEVE AOKI AND KAAZE DROP FESTIVAL-READY 'HEAD RUSH' EP

2x-Grammy-nominated artist and producer Steve Aoki has teamed up with Swedish producer KAAZEfor their first collaborative EP, Head Rush. The new project sees the longtime friends reunite in the studio following recent hits “Won’t Forget This Time (ft. John Martin)” and “Whole Again (ft. John Martin)” from Aoki’s HiROQUESTalbums. KAAZE also previously remixed Aoki's “Kyro” from HiROQUEST 2: Double Helix. On Head Rush, the pair merge Aoki’s signature electro flair with KAAZE’s distinctive Hōt Teknō style, delivering a set of high-impact festival anthems.

The title track, “Head Rush,” features techno artist Sarah De Warren and blends big-room energy with an emotive, vocal-driven edge. The EP rounds out with “Give It To Me” and “Self Control,” two equally festival-ready cuts. Earlier this month, KAAZE joined Aoki on stage at Hypersonic Festival in Sydney and Melbourne, where the duo debuted both “Head Rush” and “Give It To Me” in front of thousands of fans.

“KAAZE and I have been talking about doing something together for years, and this EP finally captures that shared vision: high-energy, emotional, euphoric,” Aoki shares. “Both ‘Head Rush’ and ‘Give It To Me’ take you straight to that festival moment where everything just lifts. It’s big-room energy with heart, exactly the kind of music that reminds me why I started doing this in the first place.”

“It’s always a blast to jump in the studio with Steve!” exclaims KAAZE. “When we started working on this EP, the goal was simple: make something that absolutely destroys the festival stage. Every drop, every melody, every vocal across all tracks is designed to make people lose themselves in the moment."
