Behind the now iconic dressing gown and dry Weetabix breakfasts is Fish56Octagon, one of dance music’s most distinctive voices. Known for his encyclopedic sets and viral content, Fish has built a global following thanks to his endless passion for electronic music new and old. His “School of Fish” project supports grassroots talent though his own Octagon Discs label, and 2025 has been another huge year already.

Issey Cross is a singer-songwriter from Kent, England, who has had collaborative hits with artists like Wilkinson and Nathan Dawe in the past, and also had UK Top 40 success with her tracks “Bittersweet Goodbye” and "Used To This".

Says Fish56Octagon, 'Dreaming (Feelings)' is my remake of an Ibiza classic, a 90's house anthem by Ruff Driverz. I wanted to bring it to a new audience and also respectfully jog the memory of people who like the original. It was so important to me to preserve that sun-kissed Balearic feel, but also pound out a more driving drumtrack and a punchy bass, so we've got something that maintains that emotive ethereal quality of the original but slaps on the dancefloor in 2025 "

'Dreaming (Feelings)' is an emotive and uplifting anthem with the pure, soaring vocals of Issey Cross and powerful breakbeats all working to get hands in the air and dance floors going off, especially once the vast bassline drops.

This new single comes ahead of Fish56Octagon's landmark O2 Academy Brixton headline set and extensive UK and US tour and marks another defining moment for Fish’s rapid ascent through the underground to the wider dance scene.

HGODS RELEASES “BAD FLESH”, A RELENTLESS TRACK THAT PUSHES THE BOUNDARIES OF THE UNDERGROUND

A champion of Brooklyn’s underground bass scene, HGods returns with “BAD FLESH”, an audacious exploration of rhythm that defies the limits of genres. Known for impressive ear for musical design, HGods pushes his sound into darker, dirtier territory with a track engineered for maximal intensity.

Built around two bold drops, “BAD FLESH” mutates in real time, twisting drum sequences into disorienting new patterns while sharp, metallic textures carve through walls of bass. A booming low end anchors the experience, but this is no paint-by-numbers track. It shifts and it evolves. Never content to settle into a groove, HGods weaponizes variation itself to keep listeners on their toes.

The track arrives at a pivotal moment in HGods’ upward trajectory. Through recent releases including his “DON’T TRIP” EP with featured highlights including “THE COMMOTION” and “JACKIE KENNEDY”, he’s carved out a unique space in a scene hungry for originality. From playing direct support for Illenium at Brooklyn’s Avant Gardner for the second year in a row, to sharing the stage with bass legends-turned-duo Kill Safari, his recent sets have sharpened his edge and revealed the raw intensity of his creative vision.

As both a producer and performer, HGods thrives in tension between genres, expectations, and sonic extremes. “BAD FLESH” stands as further proof that HGods is here to push boundaries, not play it safe.

QUOTE FROM HGODS

“BAD FLESH is a refined product of my original sound through the blending of my many artistic influences and life experiences. It's an indication of what I have in store for future releases which I'm very excited and proud to share in the coming months, as I believe I have something special developing with this project."

HGods is a force in the modern dubstep scene, this Brooklyn based producer/DJ is known for his high-voltage blend of brutal bass design, sharp aesthetics, and livewire performance energy. With releases landing on Spotify’s top editorial playlists and sets at iconic venues like The Brooklyn Mirage and Elements Festival , HGods is carving out a lane where chaos meets control.

Drawing sonic influence from his broad music tastes, and visual inspiration from retro sci-fi,  B-horror, and bootleg nostalgia, HGods' world is as cinematic as it is crushing. Every track is engineered to detonate, merging meticulous sound design with a punk sensibility.

KÖLSCH EMBARKS ON NEW CHAPTER WITH VISIONARY LP: KINEMA

THE STORY CONTINUES LIVE WITH KÖLSCH AND THE MACHINE, PREMIERING AT AMSTERDAM DANCE EVENT BEFORE EMBARKING ACROSS EUROPE.

renowned Danish DJ and producer Kölsch is set to release his next full-length album, an inspired ten-track effort that underscores his rare gift for channeling rhythm into emotion and back again. Titled KINEMA, the project arrives alongside the launch of his new live show, Kölsch and the Machine, premiering October 23rd at Amsterdam Dance Event. Together, the two endeavors signal an inspired new chapter for Kölsch: an artist defined by introspection, now channeling the highs and lows of life into an evocative, story-driven sound.

Where Kölsch’s past albums have traced the contours of personal memory (1977, 1983, 1989, Now Here No Where - I Talk To Water), KINEMA translates intimacy into motion. The title itself, drawn from the Greek word for “movement,” signals both the dynamic scope of the music and its physical counterpart on stage. Each track is a scene, some intimate and suspended in a dream, others with sweeping club energy, all stitched into a sonic arc that reflects the journey of life itself.

The journey embarks with 'Waste My Time', a restrained and soft-spoken prelude featuring English duo Camelphat. Rhythms interlock like puzzle pieces, resulting in a prologue that's soothing yet subtly suggestive of the layers to come. 'Nacht & Träume' continues the tale. A title drawn from Schubert's hymn to night and dreams, rendered with a chugging beat and angelic harmonies to conjure a dreamscape suspended somewhere between earth and sky.

KINEMA then sharpens its edge with its title track, a fully-realized club cut that shines a light on Kölsch at his very best. Menacing in tone yet crystal clear in design, it captures the album’s essence of movement distilled into sound with finesse. If 'KINEMA' is for the club, then 'Home' is where the heart is. Here, tender piano melodies and an unguarded vocal evoke nostalgia in its purest form, conjuring a soothing touch that's likely to linger like the fondest of core memories.

The album embarks from the nostalgic intimacy of 'Home' with 'All That Matters', a sweeping orchestral soundscape backed by the full force of Symphony of Unity. Strings flood the mix in sweeping arcs, cloaking the track's spirited vocal in a thin mist before swelling into a melodic climax. It's an unorthodox turn for an artist known for commanding the dancefloor, yet one that contributes to KINEMA's inspired and vibrant identity.

'All The Words' feels almost diaristic by comparison. Synths tumble like loose thoughts, while a delicate vocal hovers with a quiet innocence. Reflective without being fragile, it captures Kölsch’s ability to distill vulnerability into something confidently enduring. The album ends up returning to the club with its lead single 'All Week', as shuffling percussion spars with an airy lead to form a zesty, primal dialogue.

Its final stretch sees KINEMA blur joy with wistfulness. The spotlight single ‘Sad Makes Me Happy’, a striking collaboration with acclaimed vocalist Bonn, whose voice has powered multiple global hits. The pair reunited after Kölsch’s celebrated remix of Artbat & Morten’s ‘Hollow’, which showcased Bonn’s vocals and drew widespread acclaim from fans and tastemakers alike.

The sun rises, with ‘SMILE’, a luminous beat that lifts the horizon. Rolling basslines rekindle the album's energy while an enchanted vocal cuts through like a second dawn. Celebratory without losing its depth, it's a guaranteed ray of light for any live set.

As the sun sets, ‘Hands of Mine’ closes the journey with quiet grace. An acoustic guitar drifts over a soft pulsing beat, while tender vocals give the track an almost confessional quality. The result proves that even when stripped of excess, Kölsch's artistic vision stands tall; honest, emotive, and unshakable in identity.

As the record arrives, so too does its stage counterpart. Kölsch and the Machine debuts October 23rd at Amsterdam Dance Event before traveling through Berlin, London, Paris, Antwerp, and Madrid. Designed as a modular, analog-driven performance, the show reconstructs not only the new album but cornerstones from Kölsch’s catalog, inviting fans on a journey as the Danish producer reconnects with his early musical roots.

KINEMA and Kölsch and the Machine together capture the ongoing duality at the heart of Kölsch’s artistry: deeply personal yet undeniably communal, grounded in memory with an everlasting focus on motion. The album reaffirms his ability to translate feelings into music, threading them into a cohesive narrative that unfolds across ten compelling cuts. More than a listening experience, KINEMA conveys emotions and moments that feel universally relatable, echoing the highs and lows of everyday life.

Through a fusion of production mastery and deeply emotive techno, Kölsch has become one of the genre’s most singular voices. Building towards his upcoming Kölsch and the Machine live tour and accompanying KINEMA album, he continues to stand as one of the scene’s most defining figures. Over the years he has collaborated with a range of renowned artists including Coldplay, Imogen Heap, London Grammar, and Damon Albarn, as well as electronic heavyweights such as ARTBAT, Anyma, WhoMadeWho, and Kevin de Vries, showcasing a producer confident in wearing many creative hats. Alongside releases on his IPSO label with Michael Mayer, Tiga, and Sasha, Kölsch’s sound bridges raw vulnerability and electronic power. Raised in Copenhagen’s Christiania commune, he draws on a lifetime of artistic exploration to create music that feels both universal and deeply personal, a vision perhaps best captured in his unforgettable Cercle set atop the Eiffel Tower.
