ANDRE ZIMMER ANNOUNCES KWON’S ANTHEM EP

FORTHCOMING via DJ TENNIS’S LIFE AND DEATH LABEL SEPTEMBER 19

LEAD SINGLE “HYPNOTIZING” OUT NOW

Toronto/Berlin producer and Big Trouble Records founder Andre Zimmer has emerged as one of house and techno’s hottest commodities, fresh off his scorching fabric Records release with Carlita. Now he joins DJ Tennis’s Life and Death label with the announcement of his 4-track Kwon's Anthem EP, out September 19.

Arriving alongside the announcement is the lead single “Hypnotizing” — a piano-driven, ethereal cut that highlights Zimmer’s ability to channel rave nostalgia into shimmering, emotive house designed for peak dance floor moments.

The EP also features the standout track “That’s Right,” which has already been making waves across clubs worldwide. With early support from Peggy Gou, Dam Swindle, Massimilliano Pagliara, Alinka, Jorkes, Luigi Di Venere, and more — including rotations at Panorama Bar and viral fan videos from Bella and beyond — it’s quickly becoming one of Zimmer’s most in-demand productions.

Across the Kwon's Anthem EP, Zimmer balances hypnotic, orchestral breakdowns, progressive trance textures built from Roland SRX patches (“Kwon’s Anthem”), and a cosmic, downtempo detour structured around a 707 jam (“Hours”). It’s his most ambitious and wide-ranging statement yet — and a fitting debut on Life and Death.

With support from underground tastemakers and appearances at clubs and parties worldwide, Zimmer’s DJ sets reaffirm a classic but forward-thinking approach to house music.

SACHA ROBOTTI TEAMS UP WITH BLAKKAT FOR NEW SINGLE ‘THE FLOOD’

Second Single Off Upcoming Debut Album I, Robotti

Following Performance at Dirtybird CampINN

Out Now As Part Of Dirtybird’s 20th Anniversary Year

Sacha Robotti continues his genre-defying journey with the release of his latest single, ‘The Flood’, in collaboration with legendary producer Blakkat out now as part of the Dirtybird’s 20th anniversary.

‘The Flood’ is one part garage, one part deep house, and all groove. Instantly captivating, Sacha crafts a framework of rhythm and atmosphere that lays the foundation for Blakkat’s dreamy vocals. Their chemistry results in a piece that radiates with emotion and perspective while staying rooted in club culture and dancefloor momentum. As the second single from I, Robotti, the track highlights another side of Sacha’s range, showcasing his ability to move fluidly between moods and styles as he always has throughout his career.

Berlin-bred nomad Sacha Robotti has cemented his place in the underground dance scene over the past two decades through his solo project, his Slothacid imprint, and as ½ of Third Culture. A staple on Dirtybird’s roster, Sacha has been a consistent face on the label with his Loca Lola EP (2014), Melato Nina EP (2017), and collaborations with Kevin Knapp and Kill Frenzy. Last year, Sacha returned to the label to headline the inaugural edition of ‘Back To Baysics’ at San Francisco’s Embarcadero Plaza and dropped ‘Roll With Me’ with Pershard Owens. Sacha launched the I, Robotti era with ‘Say It’ with Victoria Rawlins and performances at Dirtybird’s Campout and CampINN festivals.

Blakkat has been a driving force in electronic music for over three decades. His career spans a Mercury Prize with M People, remixes for New Order, A Tribe Called Quest, and Chaka Khan, and collaborations with pioneers like Marshall Jefferson and David Morales. Known for bridging underground credibility with crossover appeal, his catalog includes releases on Crosstown Rebels, Hot Creations, and Defected, reinforcing his role as one of house music’s most versatile and enduring figures.

Stream Sacha Robotti and Blakkat’s new single ‘The Flood’ available now on all platforms and sign up here for the latest updates on Dirtybird releases, events, merch, and more.

JANIKA TENN DROPS 90S-INSPIRED HOUSE TRACK ‘GOING DOWN’ ON TENN TONIK

Janika Tenn continues to build her reputation as a forward-thinking House artist with the release of her latest track ‘Going Down’ on her own label, Tenn Tonik. Inspired by her love for 90s club culture, the track combines driving basslines, jacking drums, strings, and playful vocal touches to create a sound that feels both nostalgic and modern. With influences spanning Italian and UK House styles, ‘Going Down’ showcases Janika’s signature blend of groove and energy.

Incorporating funky and Disco elements into her productions, ‘Going Down’ features rolling bass, techy beats, and a classic sample that gives the track a distinct personality. A great club track through and through, it captures that “nothing else matters right now” feeling on the dancefloor.

Tenn Tonik embodies a feel-good, House-driven ethos, emphasising groove, personality, and vocal-led tracks. From jacking cuts to disco-infused grooves, the label focuses on timeless energy rather than fleeting trends. Artist-led and highly curated, Tenn Tonik is a home for music that represents Janika Tenn’s identity without compromise, offering both DJs and listeners tracks that are built for the dancefloor and designed to move people.

Janika Tenn has already made waves with releases on Defected’s D4Dance, winning an Armada remix competition for Maxim Lany and receiving support on Beatport, Spotify, and Apple Music editorial playlists. She has shared the stage with legends such as Todd Terry, Armand Van Helden, Roger Sanchez, Chris Lake, Mark Knight, and David Penn, and performed at major events including ADE, Ministry of Sound, XOYO, and Miami Music Week. Most recently, she launched Tenn Tonik with ‘Laid Back’ alongside Todd Terry, followed by solo releases that set the tone for the label’s sound.

This summer, Janika Tenn held a residency in Ibiza at Eden for Todd Terry’s Freeze Project, and will continue touring internationally with dates across Asia. She is also beginning new residencies in Tallinn and London, further cementing her presence on the global House circuit.
