Born and raised in El Paso, TX, Riot Ten exploded into the world of dance music at the age of 22. Joining the Dim Mak Records family in 2017, with additional music out on Never Say Die, Deadbeats, Insomniac, and Rottun, Riot Ten blasted off with four #1 top 100 dubstep singles. His music has been supported around the world from the likes of DJ Snake, Zeds Dead, The Chainsmokers, Excision and many more. In 2017, Riot Ten’s single “Fuck It” with Sullivan King became a staple on The Chainsmokers “Memories Do Not Open” tour. This success ultimately paved the way for “Rail Breaker”, his global smash, to become one of the most successful dubstep songs of the decade. The single saw support from the biggest names in dance music for over 3 years and running. Following the release of “Rail Breaker”, Riot Ten dropped his debut EP with Dim Mak called “Hype Or Die: The Dead” in 2018, which recorded a top 10 debut on the iTunes’ “dance album” charts, a feat seldom seen by an artist in the genre. CASPA AND TERNION SOUND GET WACKY WITH THEIR CHUNKY, WOBBLY DUBSTEP SINGLE "NEVER SERIOUS" FOR BASSRUSH RECORDS

UK trailblazer links up with the lauded US-brewed production trio for their cheeky, mind-bending collab.

Bass music’s underground gets a seismic shake-up with “Never Serious,” the highly anticipated new single from UK dubstep pioneer Caspa and Minneapolis-based trio Ternion Sound. Out January 31 via Bassrush Records, this transatlantic powerhouse collaboration honors dubstep’s deep roots while boldly exploring uncharted sonic territory. 

“Never Serious” launches with swinging ragga drums, ethereal vocal loops, and shadowy pads, setting an ominous and immersive tone. The tension builds before erupting into a barrage of expertly manipulated wobbles, each ripple morphing with tactile precision. Immersed in soundsystem culture, the track’s impeccable layering and deep, resounding weight make it equally at home in intimate clubs and sprawling festival arenas. 

Speaking to his enjoyment shared around the collaborative process, Caspa shares: “I’ve been a big fan of the guys for a long time; I absolutely love what they do within dubstep. They had supported me on a bunch of shows and we’d spoken about doing a collab for a while. Last year, it came together very naturally; I created an idea and sent it to them—they added their spin and, bang, it was done. We even kept the original working title: “Never Serious.’”

Keeping it short and sweet, Ternion Sound poses a rhetorical question to sum up their new collab, asking, “Chunky wobbles from ourselves and Caspa, what else do you need?”

As a true trailblazer, Caspa has continually shaped dubstep’s evolution, from his genre-defining work with Dub Police to standout release ‘Ghost Town’ EP on Bassrush Records. His previous Bassrush single, “No Laughing Matter” with EAZYBAKED, earned acclaim from industry heavyweights like EDM.com and This Song Is Sick, solidifying his legacy as an enduring force in the bass world. 

Ternion Sound, celebrated for their experimental and forward-thinking style, have risen as global torchbearers of the dubstep movement. The timing of “Never Serious” is significant, arriving as Ternion Sound embarks on their recently announced ‘Farewell’ tour ahead of their planned disbandment in 2025. South London based, British Guyanese DJ-producer and multi-instrumentalist KDYN and Johnny Adams kick off 2025 with a fresh new  single 'Proud' on EMI from KDYN’s new forthcoming EP slated for June.

Sampling Johnny Adams’ "Proud Woman’, ‘Proud’ has already been teased with promising fan reactions when he played the new single live on DJ AG's TikTok LIVE set with Defected Records at the end of 2024. Speaking on the new release, KDYN shares:

“When I first found the vocals, the upbeat energy sparked thoughts about love, strength, and the happiness I’ve seen in the women in my life.  At the time, it was just me and my mum, and we’ve been through a lot together. This song is about celebrating the incredible strength and resilience of the women in our lives, especially those who don’t always get the appreciation they deserve.”

Firmly cementing himself as one to watch in 2024, KDYN has been racking up acclaim for his debut solo EP ‘As Souls Find Greatness’ which was entirely recorded and produced by himself. Backing has continued to spiral with support from the likes of  BBC Radio 1’s Sian Eleri and Jaguar as well as rotation from BBC Introducing, including a 100% KDYN mix and has now been tipped as an artist to watch for 2025 by Abbie McCarthy.
