DLMT AND TOM BUDIN REUNITE TO DELIVER A FRESH TECH SINGLE, "THE RHYTHM," ON IN / ROTATION

The two house producers reunite for their debut collaboration on IN / ROTATION.

LA-based DLMT reunites with Australia’s Tom Budin to release their new single, “The Rhythm,” on August 13th via Insomniac's offshoot imprint IN / ROTATION.

The two producers originally teamed seven years ago on their infectious, vocal-led collab “Right Now,” which has amassed nearly 2 million streams. Fast forward to today, and the two producers are once again combining their talents, this time diving deeper into the darker shades of tech house. Rough and rugged in all the right

proportions, “The Rhythm” is powered by robust bassline plucks, shuffling drums, and growling stabs that give the track a gritty, underground edge. An unrelenting vocal loop pans and echoes over the weighty bounce,

Says DLMT about the collaboration, “Tom and I have been wanting to work on another record since our first collab back in 2017. And finally, after he sent me the idea for ‘The Rhythm,’ we knew we had something amazing. After working through different time zones and multiple Zoom sessions, we locked in the vocals and production and the record came together.”

Tom Budin shared similar thoughts about the track’s creation: “It’s exciting to join forces with DLMT again! When I shared the initial idea for ‘The Rhythm,’ DLMT loved it, and together we took the record to a whole new level. Excited to finally release it, after testing it out at my shows!”

Based out of LA, DLMT is a house music producer moving from strength to strength with a sound that mines influence from ‘90s rave culture, techno, progressive, and house. He previously touched down on IN / ROTATION with his Latin-fueled collab “Safari” alongside Maahez, earning radio support from industry heavyweights including Diplo, Afrojack, Tomo Hirata, BIJOU, Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano, Swanky Tunes, and Deeper Purpose.

Australian sensation Tom Budin is a producer from Sydney who has been blowing up in the house circuit with a diverse catalog that straddles club-ready and crossover appeal. He debuted on the label via his “Around Me” track with Castion last year. His music has seen regular radio support on BBC R1 and Sirius XM, and has been championed by David Guetta, Tiësto, Diplo, Martin Garrix, Marshmello, Dillon Francis, and Oliver Heldens.

With “The Rhythm,” DLMT and Tom Budin tap into their studio synergy to lay down a track that balances a lively groove with dynamic intensity, ensuring listeners stay captivated from start to finish.

In a short period of time, DLMT has made an astounding impact on the house music scene, with his sound quickly becoming a staple in the industry. Inspired by house origins and the early 90s rave scene, DLMT brings unique character to his records - connecting the dots between techno, progressive and underground styles. From that point on, DLMT continues to release groundbreaking music that continues to set him apart from the pack. Over a few short years DLMT has received support from the top class of DJs from across the globe including artists like Tiesto, Hardwell, Fisher, Tchami, Dom Dolla, Chris Lake, MK, Wax Motif and many more.
