MAX STYLER AND GENESI JOIN FORCES ON SWELTERING TECHNO-INFUSED CLUB TOOL "SEE YOU SWEAT" ON INSOMNIAC RECORDS

House music sensations Max Styler and GENESI connect for a peak-time anthem.

California-based producer Max Styler and fast rising Italian producer GENESI are joining forces for a cross-Atlantic connection on Insomniac Records. “See You Sweat” is a peak-time anthem that fuses their signature styles into a sweltering club tool.

Operating at the highest interval, “See You Sweat” is a dark and energetic workout that blends primetime energy with a stark sense of mystique. Chopped and looped rap vocals inject an undeniable swagger that’s counterbalanced with soulful house vocals, calling back to the track’s namesake with a heavy handed classic house hook. Pelting robotic arpeggiations and techno-tinged phases offer a futuristic feel that pairs perfectly with the driving drums, rubbery basslines and electrifying synths. The track has already spawned a flurry of ID requests online after seeing live support from the likes of Dom Dolla, John Summit, Cassian, Kevin de Vries, Solomun, and Massano.

Max Styler explains how the collaboration came about, saying, “My record ‘See You Sweat’ with GENESI started several months ago, when GENESI forwarded me a Dropbox link of several work-in-progress ideas. I heard the ‘See You Sweat’ vocal and it took me back to when I first heard The KLF version years ago. I knew I had to jump on it and reimagine it with my own twist. The record truly creates a unique moment in our sets and we can’t wait for it to be released.”

GENESI adds his perspective on the collaboration, saying, “This track was born from the desire to merge two similar yet different sounds that are currently very popular in the club scene. I remember sending the first draft to Max, and when he sent it back with his modifications, I thought, ‘Wow! He really turned it into something more.’ The two worlds I mentioned blended perfectly into one, and it's magic. In the last few weeks, we have also started receiving many videos of DJs like Solomun, Dom Dolla, Meduza, Kevin De Vries, Cassian, etc. playing the track, and the crowd's reaction is always huge. It even seems that the audience already knows the track despite it not being released yet!”

Born and bred in California, Max Styler first broke on the scene nearly a decade ago at the ripe age of 18. The ever-evolving artist has been carefully refining his sound with hues of dark, European-inspired elements and club-ready house cuts. He’s unleashed a steady supply of singles on the label thus far and has received radio support from Pete Tong, Capital Dance, Kiss FM UK (‘Fresh Off the Press’). He is currently riding the wave of high profile shows, including Beyond Wonderland PNW, Day Trip Festival, Badlands Festival, Shambhala, VELD Festival, Elements Festival, Brooklyn Mirage, and Ushuaia Ibiza.

GENESI is an explosive producer hailing from Italy. He’s been making his name known in the dance space with an underground-leaning style orbiting around melodic house & techno. His breakout single “Everything You Have Done” has amassed more than 56.3 million streams. His music has drawn support from MK, Laidback Luke, Benny Benassi, MEDUZA, John Summit, and many more.

Already proving its staying power as a secret weapon in sets all over the world, “See You Sweat” is a dancefloor essential set to take the summer by storm.
