MOGA CAPARICA ANNOUNCES SECOND WAVE OF NAMES AND OFF PARTY HEADLINERS

An all new and elevated MOGA Caparica experience awaits on the beautiful coast of Portugal from May 29th to June 2nd, 2024 and now the second wave of names has been revealed as well as headliners for the OFF events. 

Now playing are the likes of Acid Arab (DJ set), Adassiya (live), Agoria, Francis Mercier, Mâhoud (live), Lee Burridge, Romain FX (live), Rui Vargas, To Ricciardi, Zengxrl and many more. These latest names come on top of first wave names such as Acid Pauli, Dekmantel Soundsystem, Dixon, Jan Blomqvist (Live), Luca Saporito (Audiofly), Mr. ID, Pachanga Boys, Satori, Xinobi, Desiree and more and tickets are available now at mogafestival.com.

MOGA Caparica has made a huge impression in a short space of time. This year MOGA transitions from a series of beach parties to a full-fledged beach festival with a single expansive site and three stages but it remains a compact and boutique gathering for real music lovers inspired by Atlantic vibes and aimed at connecting people from all over the world. 

In 2024, it offers another magical mix of artistic discovery, delicious food, local and international music talent, enriching activities for the soul and beach parties, boat parties. The latest names cover house, techno, melodic electronic music, funk, soul and plenty in between with a mix of live acts and DJ sets from legends, pioneers and new school talents.

There is also a superb OFF program across one boat, three beach venues, six parties, and countless hours of non-stop dancing. That OFF program can now be revealed and will take place across Lorosae, Azul Dr Bernard and Buya Beach in Costa da Caparica on the first two days of the festival. 

The stunning beach bar Lorosae will be hosting a party on both Wednesday and Thursday. For this occasion the organisers partner up with Amor Records, a local record store and talent incubators. The event offers attendees an immersive experience in the electronic music Lisbon scene, showcasing local names. Later on the same days (29 and 30), the celebration carries on at Azul Dr. Bernard, just a few minutes away from the afternoon event. The setting will host electronic scene headliners along with their talented DJ friends. On Wednesday, MOGA gladly welcome Polocorp, and on Thursday, DJ Vibe, Portuguese talent known locally and globally, both spinning beats for a party lasting long into the night. MOGA will once again host its traditional boat cruise on the Tejo river, setting sail to the tunes of DJs from the Faina Music Portuguese label.

In addition to the live electronic music and parties, the festival also aims to pay homage to the land that welcomes us. The programme will be announced in the coming weeks but in previous editions, MOGA invited a local batucada, offered free yoga and surfing lessons, hosted discussions on music and technology, and organized exhibitions, all against the scenic backdrop of Caparica.

Creative powerhouses Giolì & Assia have announced their much-anticipated RESURRECTION World Tour, in support of their upcoming EP of the same name. Set to kick off in September, the tour will take the duo to multiple cities around the world, promising the unparalleled live experience fans have come to expect from the pair. 
 
Named after their highly-anticipated new body of work ‘RESURRECTION’ which is slated for release later this month, the World Tour will see Giolì & Assia bring their signature blend of electronic, pop and house music to audiences across North America and Europe. True to form, Giolì & Assia will deliver the signature transcendental sonic experience that has become synonymous with their live shows. 
 
Following their North American dates, November will see Giolì & Assia embark on the European leg of the tour, beginning at St. John’s Hackney Church in London, and taking them across Europe with dates at revered music venues in Dublin, Paris, Amsterdam, Berlin and many more.

GATES OF AGARTHA RETURNS TO ANCIENT ROMAN QUARRY WITH BIGGER LINE UP AND EXCLUSIVE EXPERIENCE PACKAGES

Following its triumphant debut and after being acclaimed as Best New Regional Festival, the stunning Gates of Agartha Festival is set to return to the historic Cave Romane in Pula, Croatia, on June 7th and 8th, 2024. World class music comes from more headliners than ever before with Adriatique, Bedouin, Dixon, Vintage Culture, Seth Troxler, TSHA and Avantgart Tabldot all playing.

Gates of Agartha is a two day odyssey to the historic region of Istria, Croatia which blends the past and the present and offers a glimpse into its rich history and vibrant culture. It comes from brothers Yaaz and Yalim Acar, the people behind the Echoes From Agartha experience in Cappadocia, Turkey, and local driving force BSH events which specialises in hosting events at unique venues around Croatia and the region. It takes place in Cave Romane, an ancient quarry dating back to Roman times that played a crucial role in the construction of the Pula Arena under Emperor Vespasian's command. 

Carved into 50-metre limestone walls and nestled in the small village of Vinkuran, it stands as a reminder of ancient craftsmanship and the architectural legacy of the Roman Empire. Legend has it that Cave Romane was a sacred place for ancient tribes and mystical beings which resonates with the broader tapestry of myths surrounding Istria's enchanting reputation as 'Terra Magica.' 

The breathtaking cave will come alive with a bespoke projection mapping show in collaboration with the cutting-edge media collective OUCHHH that will make it an immersive and wondrous place to dance to world class music as 4000 people attend. As well as the music, there is  plenty of local culture to explore from ancient architecture in the historic Roman city to the bustling modern day market places, local cuisines and so much more. 

New for this year, Gates of Agartha introduces exclusive experience packages to enhance attendees' festival journey. This improved program offers a luxurious stay at the Pula Brioni Hotel where guests can indulge in world-class amenities and breathtaking views of the Adriatic Sea. Exclusive to full experience package holders, a special pre-party will be held at the historic Pula Castle on Thursday, providing a unique opportunity to immerse oneself in the city's rich cultural heritage.
