EXIT FESTIVAL REVEALS THE FIRST 24 ACTS FOR 2024 EDITION

Black Eyed Peas, Gucci Mane, Tom Morello, Carl Cox, Bonobo and more have been revealed as the first 24 acts to be announced for EXIT Festival 2024

EXIT Festival has just unveiled the first 24 acts for its upcoming edition, EXIT Starseed! The lineup is headlined by pop-rap icons and one of the most successful music groups of all time, the Black Eyed Peas, along with one of the world's most innovative guitarists and a driving force behind Rage Against the Machine, Tom Morello, and the global trap trailblazer, Gucci Mane! Legendary mts Dance Arena will feature the most popular DJ of all time, Carl Cox, often seen as the symbol of the profession itself. He will be joined by Bonobo, Berlin's DJ star and producer KlangKuenstler, Sama’ Abdulhadi, Barry Can’t Swim, Franky Wah, and Mene. Tesla Universe Stage will also showcase leaders among the new generation of artists Kenya Grace and Iniko, the mega-popular British group Rudimental, pop and soul sensation John Newman, the unstoppable The Exploited, Australian visionary Dub FX, hitmakers Willy William, Ian Asher, and Steve Angello, and the leading regional sensation Joker Out.

The first names for Visa Fusion Stage are the Greek band Villagers of Ioannina City and the Czech synth-pop group Lakeside X, while Explosive Stage will be energised by the Swiss thrash metal band Coroner and Nemesis! EXIT Starseeds, under the slogan “Awakening our Superpowers Together,” is set to take place from July 10 to 14, with a special Starseeds Takeover performance on Tesla Universe Stage reserved for day zero.

The pop-rap icons Black Eyed Peas are coming to Serbia for the first time, and with an incredible 80 million albums sold, they represent one of the most successful musical groups of all time! With their rich collection of platinum albums, they earned as many as 59 of the most prestigious music awards, including six Grammys, eight American Music Awards and two Billboard awards. Creators of enduring R&B, hip hop, and dance anthems such as My Humps and Pump It, and chart-topping singlesI Gotta Feeling and Boom Boom Pow, which secured their place in history among the few artists to simultaneously hold the top two spots on the Billboard Hot 100 list, not to mention recent hits like Girl Like Me and Don’t You Worry with Shakira, they've cemented their status as timeless global stars and are set to electrify the EXIT Festival audience!

For the first time, the Petrovaradin Fortress will echo with the iconic riff of Killing in the Name, straight from the axe of Tom Morello, the co-founder and leading composer of most of Rage Against the Machine's albums! One of the most innovative guitarists of today, Morello has a career marked by an impressive array of collaborators such as Bruce Springsteen, RZA and GZA of Wu-Tang Clan, The Prodigy, Eddie Vedder, Bring Me the Horizon, and Chris Stapleton. Showcasing a broad genre diversity through numerous collaborations and unconventional playing techniques, Morello's unique musical expression and characteristic use of effects create his own language, combining rock, rap, and electronic elements.

The main Tesla Universe Stage will also host the unrivalled Gucci Mane, a key figure in making trap a dominant music genre of today. His army of fans includes over forty million followers on social media, with streams of his songs reaching tens of billions! His album Everybody Looking and single “Black Beatles topped the Billboard charts, and the extent of his popularity among his colleagues is confirmed by collaborations with the world's biggest stars, including The Weeknd, Drake, Lil Wayne, Chris Brown, Selena Gomez, Mariah Carey, Usher, Bruno Mars, and many others.

“You have to play directly from your soul here, be who you are, and that’s what makes EXIT so special!“  Carl Cox, widely regarded as the greatest DJ of all time and the king of the electronic scene, once said. After five years, he’s returning for a three-hour set at mts Dance Arena! His closing set in 2009 and another performance a decade later remain some of the most memorable events in the history of the electronic scene. Next year, on the festival's first day, this living legend by the decks will once again take the stage before what he called “the most explosive audience” in the numerous interviews in which he spoke about EXIT!

By popular demand, Bonobo, the maestro of blending various musical styles and a headliner at the world's biggest festivals, is making his debut appearance in Serbia. With five Grammy nominations, two of which came just this year, he can boast a performance in front of two million people during his Migration tour in 2017, while his namesake LP topped Billboard’s list of Best Dance Albums. mts Dance Arena will also feature British producer and DJ Barry Can’t Swim, while KlangKuenstler will bring the spirit of Berlin’s club scene on the first day of the festival, along with stellar sets from Sama’ Abdulhadi, Franky Wah, and Mene.

Tesla Universe Stage will also host leaders of a new generation of artists, Kenya Grace and Iniko, the energetic Rudimental, known for chart-topping singles Feel The Love andWaiting All Night,and British pop and soul sensation John Newman, with his impressive 2+ billion streams. Tesla Universe will also be electrified by the unstoppable The Exploited and Australian visionary Dub FX. EXIT's multi-genre crossroad, the iconic Visa Fusion Stage, will feature Greek rock band Villagers of Ioannina City and Czech synth-pop group Lakeside X. World renowned drum & bass crew Hospitality are coming to Bristol for their first ever New Year's Eve show in collaboration with [THE BLAST] at Motion. The two room takeover offers a comprehensive line-up of the best DnB talents in the game with the likes of special guests Pola & Bryson, Bou & B Live 247, P Money & Whiney, Unglued, Degs, Benny L, Euphonique, Kanobie, Borai, APH and many more.

After a complete sell out of Hospitality On The Harbour this summer, and with Motion always selling out on New Year's Eve, this is a momentous coming together with [THE BLAST], a brand that dominates the landscape in Bristol and the South West with diverse multi-genre club and warehouse events known for their explosive atmospheres.

This special showcase will see epic production levels and artists representing the entire drum & bass spectrum from jump-up, dance-floor, minimal, liquid and more. Room one features  special guests Pola & Bryson, who are two of the most exciting next-gen producers making global moves in the scene right now. Meanwhile, expect an unforgettable live experience as headliner Bou, one of the biggest contemporary names in the game, is set to showcase his  genre-leading creativity and innovation alongside the legendary  B Live 247. There will be more from grime legend P Money who joins forces with drum & bass innovator Whiney, Bootleg master and DnB cosmonaut Unglued plus a broad spectrum of sounds from Degs, Lens, Anaïs, [IVY] and Georgia.

 

Meanwhile [THE BLAST] in room two welcomes mic-masters Carasel, Texas, NV and Juma while Benny L brings his big bag of tricks and will be joined by Euphonique, Kanobie, Borai, APH and Jaydrop who will play a special 140 Set.

Ultra Music Festival has unveiled its star-studded Phase 2 lineup, notching more than 60 additional acts to perform at the 2024 event, which will take place from Friday, March 22 - Sunday, March 24, 2024 at Bayfront Park in Downtown Miami.

In October, Ultra announced its impressive roster of Phase 1 talent, including Calvin Harris’ epic return to the festival after ten years, as well as the Ultra debut of FISHER and Chris LakeUNDER CONSTRUCTION. Additional headliners include Afrojack, Black Tiger Sex Machine, David Guetta , Excision, Gryffin, Hardwell, Martin Garrix, Nora En Pure, Oliver Heldens, SLANDER, SVDDEN DEATH, Tiësto, Vintage Culture, and Zeds Dead. Phase 1 also revealed debut headlining performances from Peggy Gou , as well as the special trio of SVDDEN DEATH, Space Laces, and Eptic as Masterhand.

With the Phase 2 lineup announcement, Ultra welcomes back a plethora of veteran headliners including A State of Trance boss Armin van Buuren , UK drum & bass duo Chase & Status, Dharma Worldwide boss and DJ/producer/songwriter KSHMROphelia Records founder Seven Lions , and global party starter Steve Aoki.

The festival will also present debut headlining performances from German techno artist Klangkuenstler and an exclusive live set from British singer/songwriter/producer Elderbrook. Additionally, Ultra will feature headliners such as trap and bass legends RL Grime b2b Knock2 , as well as French electronic music master Madeon b2b bitbird label boss San Holo

Ultra’s esteemed underground concept RESISTANCE will host previously-announced headliners such as Drumcode label boss Adam Beyer,   Swiss duo Adriatique, Belgian techno queen Amelie Lens,  Ukrainian duo ARTBAT, GRAMMY-nominated English duo CamelPhat, Swedish production wonder Eric Prydz, electronic music icons Sasha_ John Digweed, an exclusive live set by Dutch DJ/Filth on Acid label owner Reinier Zonneveld, and Russian producer/DJ/singer Nina Kraviz.

RESISTANCE has earned a celebrated reputation for programming unique back-to-back performances, and Ultra Music Festival 2024 will keep that tradition alive. Artists taking the RESISTANCE stage together for the very first time include Oliver Heldens’ techno alias HI-LO b2b UK artist Eli Brown, as well as Afterlife favorites Massano b2b Chris Avantgarde . These sets will join the previously-announced back-to-back performances from  Dubfire b2b Ilario Alicante, and melodic techno maestros Joris Voorn b2b Kölsch

Following their magnetic performances at Ultra’s RESISTANCE Miami U.S. Club Residency at Miami Beach nightclub M2 , the festival will welcome sets from melodic duo Mind Against and classically-trained musician/composer/multi-instrumentalist Giorgia Angiuli (live). Veteran festival acts returning to RESISTANCE include Italian brother duo Mathame presenting their ‘AV: SHOW’ , German techno artist Ann Clue and multifaceted DJ/producer Moritz Hofbauer, while Ukrainian progressive house stalwart Miss Monique will make her festival debut.

Ultra will once again host a bevy of label showcase stage takeovers, curated by some of the industry’s leading imprints. The festival will welcome inaugural takeovers from Nora En Pure ’s ethereal Purified label and Seven Lions’ mesmeric Ophelia Records, while Coone’s hardstyle label Dirty Workz returns for the third year in a row.

The Ophelia Records takeover will feature a handful of imprint-veterans making their Ultra Music Festiva l debuts, including acts such as Australian bass producer Blanke, Canadian cinematic wunderkind Far Out, melodic duo Gem & Tauri , trance & melodic bass weaver Jason Ross, genre-blending producer/DJ/vocalist Pauline Herr, guitar-slinging dubstep artist Trivecta, and renowned bass maestro Wooli

Nora En Pure will host the first-ever Purified takeover at Ultra Music Festival with versatile electronic duo Eli & Fur and Dutch legend Eelke Klejin with more talent still to be announced.

Celebrating their third annual Ultra Music Festival stage takeover, Coone’s Dirty Workzimprint will vaunt a plethora of debut festival performances from hardstyle heavyweights such as Denmark titan Adrenalize, Dutch hardstyle selector Radical Redemption, Dutch legend Ran D, and duo Sound Rush . Returning acts include LA-based hardstyle dubstep pioneer Soren, Dutch hardstyle purveyors Sub Zero Project, and raw hardstyle phenom Warface

The Ultra Music Festival 2024 lineup is rounded out by a collection of festival veterans such as legendary English duo Orbital, who will make their highly-anticipated return to Ultra for the first time since 2010.
