With exactly one month to go until its first in-person event since 2019, Asia’s leading electronic music festival, Djakarta Warehouse Project, now announces the full artist lineup for its eagerly awaited thirteenth edition.

Following an impressive Phase One lineup announcement earlier this year – which confirmed the likes of Armin Van Buuren, DJ Snake, Hardwell, Illenium, Madeon (LIVE), Martin Garrix, Yellow Claw and ZEDD – Djakarta Warehouse Project now lifts the lid on one of its biggest complete lineups to date, as it prepares to welcome a diverse selection of top tier talent from across the electronic music spectrum to Indonesia’s capital this December.

Kicking off proceedings at the JIExpo Kemayoran, Jakarta on Friday, December 9, will be an incredible host of international headliners including (in alphabetical order) Andrew Rayel, Anfisa Letyago, DJ Snake, Gareth Emery, Hardwell, Nervo and Shiba San. Saturday, December 10, sees the introduction of Armin Van Buuren, Cedric Gervais, Illenium, Lost Frequencies, Slushii and Whethan, as well as a special Barong Family stage debut, hosted by Amsterdam based duo and label bosses Yellow Claw. Last but by no means least, and closing the festival on Sunday, December 1, will be headline artists Acraze, Madeon (Live), Martin Garrix, Regard, Yellow Claw and ZEDD.

Accompanying these international headline acts across the weekend will be a whole host of celebrated Asian artists, including BEAUZ, B Jones, Chace, CYBERJAPAN, Devarra, Dipha Barus, Mandy, Weird Genius, Winky Wiryawan & W.W, to name just a few. For a full list of participating artists, see below.

Speaking about the upcoming event, Ismaya Live Co-Founder and Creative Director Christian Rijanto commented:

“We’re so excited to finally be delivering our first in-person event since 2019. It’s been a difficult few years, but DWP is here to show the world that Indonesia is ready to welcome everyone back to our beautiful nation through our love of music”.

Produced by Ismaya Live – the live events division of lifestyle company Ismaya Group – Djakarta Warehouse Project (DWP) is one of the biggest dance and electronic music festivals in Asia. This year’s edition marks Djakarta Warehouse Project’s first in-person festival since 2019, and its thirteenth overall. The festival first began in 2010 as a rebrand of Blowfish Warehouse Project, an event by Jakarta nightclub Blowfish, and featured a lineup including Ferry Corsten, Kaskade, and Marco V.

In 2020, the festival shifted to a virtual arrangement due to gathering restrictions in light of the COVID-19 pandemic, and featured Martin Garrix, Armin Van Buuren, Yellow Claw and Vini Vici. It was followed by the second iteration of Djakarta Warehouse Project Virtual in 2021, which featured Andrew Rayel, Lost Frequencies, and Asian DJs such as Bali’s Dipha Barus and Jakarta’s Weird Genius.

Djakarta Warehouse Project 2022 takes place from December 9-11 at JIExpo Kemayoran, North Jakarta, Indonesia.

DEBUT EDITION OF SARAAB TO TAKE PLACE IN THE RED SEA MOUNTAINS FEAT. ÂME, POLO & PAN, MACEO PLEX, GERD JANSON, D’JULZ, LAMACHE, ÉCLAIR FIFI, MANO LE TOUGH, MAHER DANIEL, WILLIAM DJOKO

Ganz Extraordinaire & Astral Element have teamed up to create Saraab, a new festival concept in the heart of the Red Sea Mountains of Il Monte Galala by Tatweer Misr, taking place December 1-2nd, 2022.

Have you ever woken up and not been able to make out the end of your dream and the beginning of your memories? Had a night that felt more illusion than reality? Met someone that seemed to be from another dimension?

“Like a mirage in the distance, we believe that the way things are is not the way they have to be. That when we come together, at the right time for the right reason, anything is achievable. Sound becomes language. Strangers become friends. Time a mere illusion. Some say it’s all an illusion, we prefer to call it Saraab.”

Saraab is a one of a kind 2-day electronic festival held by the majestic mountains of the Red Sea with a killer sea view. With a venue capacity of 3000 attendees and some of the biggest names in the electronic industry playing back to back, Saraab will be held over the span of two days across two main stages and a marketplace.

With a lineup announced that includes Polo & Pan (DJ set), Maceo Plex, Âme (live), Éclair Fifi, Mano Le Tough, Bas Ibellini, Terr, Lamache, Maher Daniel, Gerd Janson, D’Julz, Salomé Le Chat, William Djoko as well as local heroes, Misty, Chiati (live), Aroussi, DNGR GNGR and Maie; the SARAAB lineup will be unforgettable.

Along with two performing stages, the marketplace will include vendors of all kinds as well as a smaller stage with up and coming artists as Saraab looks to spotlight local and rising talent.

Saraab is bringing together DJs and visual artists and establishing a market where people can share their interests and products from vintage pieces to art pieces and fashion in a one-of-a-kind market alongside mouthwatering food pop-ups.

Located in Il Monte Galala, the top-notch destination is the ideal location for the event due to its raw natural beauty and space. The venue is spacious and versatile with a killer view of the mountains and the sea and located only an hour away from Cairo.

The full festival runs until the 13th with hundreds of thousands of people expected throughout the four days, in celebration of music, art, social connectivity and interactive experiences.

Party Degenerates are one of the main programming partners of the festival and for the OxArena they have joined forces with established brands, labels and festivals such as SXM Festival, Revealed Records, Konflict Recordings, Volta XR and web3 native Superf3st, the first decentralised festival owned and governed by the community.

OxArena is a unique venue that aims to foster meaningful connections combined with the thrill of the IRL experience, as we collectively experience music and digital art through innovative technologies that expand the imagination. The venue's architectural fluidity provides a socio-spatial manifestation that entails the conjoining of forces and will serve as a platform for already established and emerging artists, web3 communities and projects to connect with their audience or expand their reach.” - Raluca Cherciu, CEO at Unpaired

The OxArena has been inspired by Starchitect Zaha Hadid and Steve Jobs' works and is a unique 6x6 build which makes it one of the largest in Decentraland and the largest entertainment venue at the Decentraland Music Festival. The stunning venue features an open-air stage, three indoor clubs, a concept store for digital merch, an outdoor circular NFT gallery, a congress room and two private lounges. The OxArena will host various PARTY DEGENERATES and partner events not only during the festival's four days but throughout the upcoming year, opening its door for branding and programming opportunities to both web2 and web3 brands thanks to its fully customisable setup and turnkey solution.

Over 3.3 million active users have joined the Decentraland platform which is built, governed and owned by its users and creators. The 2021 festival provided a first opportunity to interact and socialise in Web3 with more than 80 artists, countless wearables and appearances from the likes of Deadmau5, Paris Hilton and 3Lau. This year's free-to-attend event builds on that success with a diverse line-up of major artists, avatars, new talent, DJS, fully-virtual bands and more stages, immersive music experiences, quests and artist-fan encounters than ever before.
