Ultra Music Festival has added more than 80 genre-bending acts to its already impressive lineup, ahead of the event’s return to Bayfront Park from March 25 - 27, 2022.

Now, Ultra unveils the next round of iconic artists headed to Bayfront Park: Phase 2 headliners include techno purveyor Adam Beyer, fan-favorite Afrojack, festival veteran Armin van Buuren, a thunderous collaborative performance from Jauz b2b NGHTMRE, storied techno icon Joseph Capriati, British underground legends Sasha / John Digweed, Ophelia label boss Seven Lions, chart-shredder Tiësto, and the worldwide debut of house music aficionados Vintage Culture b2b Claptone

Trance lovers can catch the one and only Armin van Buuren at Ultra while his A State of Trance (ASOT) brand celebrates the 10th anniversary of hosting its own Ultra Music Festival stage.

Ultra will continue its endless commitment to touching all corners of the dance floor by hosting its first-ever hardstyle stage, curated by Belgian hardstyle, jumpstyle and happy hardcore record label Dirty Workz. Label boss Coone will front his first-ever Ultra stage with his own performance, as well as curate a roster of heavy-weight acts including hardstyle superstars Da Tweekaz, hard trance purveyor Ben Nicky pres. Xtreme, happy hardcore pioneer Darren Styles, UK hardcore icon Gammer, uptempo hardcore cowboy Lil Texas, hardstyle wunderkinds Sub Zero Project, hard dance thunder from down under Audiofreq, and American hardstyle staples Darksiderz and Pulsatorz.

Nearly half of the Phase 2 lineup is composed of first-ever festival performances, including acts like Kannibalen label heads Black Tiger Sex Machine, magnetic singer-songwriter-producer Elohim (live), a double-trouble set from Mija b2b GG Magree, dubstep rockstar Sullivan King (live), and more.

Phase 2 also boasts a speaker-rattling lineup of today’s hottest bass music acts, including a live set by multi-instrumentalist Ookay (live), heavy-bass maven WHIPPED CREAM, wobble wizard PEEKABOO, and the fast-rising Nitepunk.

Ultra’s esteemed underground concept RESISTANCE will present a solid selection of house and techno’s most in-demand acts including techno leader and Drumcode label boss Adam Beyer, celebrated Italian DJ Joseph Capriati, the iconic Sasha / John Digweed, heavy-hitting techno guru ANNA, Grammy-nominated producer Nic Fanciulli, tastemaker techno duo Pan-Pot, and house music savants Solardo.

Along with these incredible acts, RESISTANCE will host debut performances from Filth On Acid label head Reinier Zonneveld (live), techno globetrotter Deniz Bul, the technical and passionate Hannes Bieger (live), and fast-rising prodigy Moritz Hofbauer (live).

Ultra will also welcome stadium-smashing stars such as radio sensation Cedric Gervais, Juno Award nominee Frank Walker, former Dash Berlin frontman Jeffrey Sutorius, platinum-selling artist Sam Feldt, DOORN RECORDS founder Sander van Doorn, and psytrance icons Vini Vici.

Phase 2 is rounded out with a hearty helping of bass house from purveyors such as Confession label boss Tchami and Divided Souls imprint ringleader Wax Motif.

Hot off a smashing sold-out event in LA, techno temptress Nicole Moudaber is set to bring her world-renowned party brand to New York’s Avant Gardner for a ground-breaking edition of ‘In The Mood’. Taking place on 12th November in the Great Hall, ‘In The Mood New York’ will combine fashion and art with sensational interactive visual content, and of course a top tier line up of techno talent.

For the first time in five years, techno titan Chris Liebing will join Nicole for a rare b2b set, with Italian trailblazer Luigi Madonna also slated to play on the night. A name that needs no introduction, Skin from Skunk Anansie will be back with Nicole for their first performance in New York together since their sold-out MoodRAW warehouse party. The acclaimed singer, fashion icon, DJ, activist and ‘Breed’ EP collaborator is the perfect addition to help Moudaber take the latest edition of ‘In The Mood’ to new heights.

Already presiding over one of the world’s most iconic party empires, Nicole is set to raise the bar as she unveils a brand-new immersive experience unlike anything she has done before. Always looking to advance and evolve, Nicole has enlisted conceptual fashion designer Gelareh Designs and experiential pioneers Volvox Labs NYC to deliver a night of rich visuals that will perfectly complement Moudaber’s raw and emotive techno.

The industrial backdrop of the event in East Williamsburg, will undoubtedly blend in with the visual and aural experience Nicole has planned. The BPM Festival: Costa Rica presents the phase two lineup of its highly-anticipated 15th-anniversary edition, set to take place from January 12th to 18th, 2022 in the picturesque beachside town of Tamarindo. Boasting a penchant for hosting top-notch underground talent in house and techno, the renowned event welcomes over eighty new artists to its week-long event. For those looking to attend the colossal celebration, 7-day and 3-day weekend festival passes are on sale now.

Those added to the lineup include a special reunion set from Art Department with Jonny White and Kenny Glasgow as well as AMÉMÉ, Audiofly, Birds of Mind, Diplo, DJ Minx, DJ Tennis, Marco Faraone, m.O.N.R.O.E., Pablo Ceballos, Stefano Noferini, WhoMadeWho (live), Yulia Niko, and many more. These revered talents will be joining industry tastemakers including the likes of Carl Craig, Dubfire, Hernan Cattaneo, Jamie Jones, Loco Dice, Luciano, Matthias Tanzmann, Michael Bibi, Nicole Moudaber, Paco Osuna, Ricardo Villalobos, and Rony Seikaly.

Newly-added showcases include Balearica, Rafa Barrios’ Bandidos, From The South, Miami event series and record label Hurry Up Slowly, White Isle party starters Ibiza Underground Movement, Iberican sound powerhouse Stereo Productions, Maher Daniel’s minimal label The Other Side, WhoMadeWho’s Tranquility, and France’s Yoyaku. Previously announced showcases include returning appearances to Tamarindo from Detroit Love, Kaluki, Luciano & Friends, Mood vs Mindshake, and Vatos Locos, to name a few. The 15th-anniversary edition will also host BPM showcase debuts from Jesse Calosso’s Boogeyman, Carlo Lio’s Rawthentic, and Michael Bibi’s Solid Grooves plus the Costa Rican debut of The Martinez Brothers’ Cuttin’ Headz and Jamie Jone’s famed Ibiza party brand Paradise.

In addition to the newly-added acts and showcases, BPM will also be hosting a series of ‘The BPM Festival presents’ showcases including Hernan Cattaneo on opening day hosted by legendary San José nightclub Vertigo, ‘This Is The End’ with Marco Carola on closing night plus additional events with Anfisa Letyago, Gaetano Parisio, Jeff Mills, and more.

Four custom-built stages outfitted with locally sourced natural materials and designs meticulously crafted by Konyo Factory Productions will be awaiting attendees in The Jungle and Canopy festival areas. Attendees will also have the opportunity to explore everything Tamarindo has to offer with daytime events at Ocho Beach Club along Playa Tamarindo, and nighttime events at Chiquitas and El Garito nightclubs located within the city center, all included with a festival pass. Enhancing the festival experience, The BPM Festival will once again be implementing Billfold POS’ cashless and contactless payment system across all venues and events for quick and seamless transactions for concessions and merchandise. The BPM Festival will be live-streamed daily with video and audio via Beatport Live, and on Balearica and Ibiza Sonica with select sets live-streamed via audio-only.

For those traveling internationally for the event, Costa Rica is open to all visitors with flights available to Liberia International Airport (LIR), only one hour from Tamarindo by car, and San José International Airport (SJO), located four hours away by car. By Costa Rican travel policy, all international travelers will be required to complete an online Health Pass for entry into the country with their proof of vaccination, unvaccinated travelers will be required to secure mandatory travel insurance.
