JOHN DIGWEED ANNOUNCES NEW COMPILATION ‘QUATTRO’ FEATURING EXCLUSIVES FROM MONKEY SAFARI, RAXON, BOOKA SHADE & MORE

9 months in the making, the album's meticulously assembled exclusive tracks and remixes introduce a range of uniquely exciting new talent alongside many of the label's finest master producers. The album features the likes of Francesca LombardoBooka ShadeTom Mangan, and many more, with the fourth disc mixed in conjunction with fellow Bedrock label-mate Nick Muir.

John Digweed, the unwavering English mainstay, continues to create, evolve and produce a level of dedicated production that is hard to match with his newly released QUATTRO, out now via his own imprint, Bedrock Records. The monumental effort spans four discs, mixed entirely by Digweed himself, and serves as a testament to his status as one of electronic music’s finest genre blending connoisseurs, as well as his inherent knack for soundtracking sonically-enriching journeys. Split into four discs, each is reflective of a distinct creative vision. QUATTRO is out now across all streaming platforms, Bandcamp, CD, and Vinyl via Bedrock Records.

Beginning with SoundscapeQUATTRO entrances the listener, providing elongated cinematic sounds that incite true, raw emotion. With 11 unique productions and remixes, Tempo follows and sees the second disc of the album take a different approach from atmospheric breaks through deep techno  and pacing hypnotic techno grooves. Redux, the penultimate mix takes it up a notch with breathtaking remixes that build upon one another, creating a flurry of deep house, techno, and acid. Nick Muir, fellow Bedrock Records producer and longtime friend, lends his expertise in Juxtaposition, the fourth and final mix, which brings the release full-circle with ambient soundscapes that feel more experimental in nature.

To maximize anticipation for the release and as a special treat to his loyal fans, Digweed took to Instagram to unveil an exclusive vinyl unboxing video that showcased the stunning design and sonic craftsmanship that was poured into the project. A week prior, Digweed was among the first to livestream an exclusive 2-hour long set broadcasted directly from his home. The stream garnered over 124,000 views, and lead to additional 'Bunker' streaming sessions, which have topped out at well over 600,000 views across the past 10 days. QUATTRO is shaping up to an unmissable piece of John Digweed history.

Having taken nine months to create, QUATTRO truly is a labor of love for Digweed. Spanning 45 exclusive tracks, the album serves as a stellar follow-up and successor to 2018’s Bedrock XX, the last four-disc album he produced to celebrate Bedrock Records’ 20th anniversary. Perfect for any collector or vinyl aficionado, QUATTRO also comes in a signed limited-edition 5x12” vinyl that includes 20 hand-selected tracks from the album itself. Fans who pre-ordered a QUATTRO vinyl are expected to receive their copy a few days before official release. For those to wish to get their hands on a vinyl and deluxe 4 x CD box set should place an order immediately as physical stock is nearly sold-out and there will be no additional pressings made. Last remaining copies are available here – www.bedrockshop.com

A timeless fixture in the world of underground electronica, Digweed’s latest delivering with QUATTRO showcases his untouchable talent from beginning to end. As the only artist to have ever procured a discography comprising 57 mix CDs, and compilations, the WOW factor around this alone solidifies John Digweed as one of the hardest working, ever-evolving artists on the planet. The album features the likes of Francesca LombardoBooka ShadeTom Mangan, and many more, with the fourth disc mixed in conjunction with fellow Bedrock label-mate Nick Muir

SLOW DANCING TO TECHNO

Chicago based techno extraordinaire Daniel Dejman navigated his way through the electronic music sphere before recently solidifying his prowess as a hard house/techno producer. Following the release of ‘SŃKRS OŃLY’, he returns to the studio to deliver a jarring three-track EP entitled ‘STTÆB’. The EP marks Daniel Dejman’s debut contribution to his own imprint Slow Dancing To Techno and is available now across all streaming platforms.

The three-track compilation from Daniel Dejman includes a mesmerizing original cut of ‘STTÆB’, a remix courtesy of Rojii, as well as an additional vocal bonus track from Daniel Dejman himself. Propulsive energy permeates each of the tracks, showcasing Daniel's sonic palette with galvanic flair and tethering the edits to the roots of their counterpart. Clocking in at just over six minutes, ‘STTÆB’ immerses the listener into a hard techno journey that proves its peak-time worth. The cut opens with a pulsating rhythm before injecting a whirlwind of dominating synths and layered instrumentals. Rojii’s re-work complements the original track while incorporating epic instrumentation samples to form a cohesive package. Finally, the bonus track from Daniel Dejman is a vocal flip of ‘STTÆB’, incorporating a tantalizing vocal overlay that provides additional depth to the track.

"I started working on the original track on my laptop late one summer night in 2019. The sounds of the 90's was a huge influence for me on this track and I would say it's littered with those sensibilities. Knowing that I wanted to have a remix of it, I reached out to another Chicago producer and close friend, Roji, for a re-work. After I had finalized the original, I felt that a compelling vocal unit would add a bit more flavor to it. It felt like the perfect first release for my own imprint, Slow Dancing To Techno." - Daniel Dejman

The blossoming underground producer has honed his craft over the past few years receiving recognition from industry tastemakers such as NASTIAJulia Gover, and Submerge on his latest release. With an innate desire to evolve and innovate his sound, the Chicago native continues to push the boundaries of styles and production techniques in order to deliver a fresh perspective on the hard house and techno spectrum. ‘STTÆB’ serves as his inaugural release of the new decade and showcases a refined studio approach that will no doubt aid in cultivating a global following. Daniel Dejman carves the path to his own burgeoning career, building upon his flourishing discography and leaving much to be desired.

Rudosa Releases Fiery New Edit Of Frank Biazzi's 'Transition'

OUT NOW VIA TRONIC

Techno extraordinaire Rudosa returns to the studio to deliver a pounding edit of Frank Biazzi’s ‘Transition’, marking his debut contribution to Christian Smith’s Tronic imprint. Expected to follow in the footsteps of the Mancunian’s recent hit ‘Dominance’, the cut sets a precedent for yet more original and remix projects in the coming months.

Entering as it means to go on, ‘Transition’ opens with Rudosa’s staple reverberating kick, flecked with incentivised high hats that drive its momentum and confirm its peak-time worth. The catchy sample of “transition” permeates the cut, acting as a centerpiece for each musical phrase and tethering it to the roots of its counterpart. Injecting a dominating alarm synth on the off-beat, the track takes a gritty turn, preparing listeners for the introduction of an acid-led drone that guides us to its first break. With an overlapping of mutated vocal samples, Rudosa lands a shattering drop that once again showcases his mastery for percussive elements. A true musical rollercoaster, Rudosa’s adaptation ebbs and flows, leading the listener by the hand on a journey right to the centre of any dancefloor or rave.

Flexing his studio prowess for the third time this year, Rudosa stands to cultivate a lasting international fanbase as he confirms his refined sonic palette with yet more propulsive and acid-led productions. Following the recently-released second imprint curation on his own Moments In Time label, Rudosa aims to continue this rich vein of form as both a label boss and flourishing producer. With continued support from the likes of Amelie Lens, ANNA, Charlotte de Witte, Richie Hawtin and Carl Cox, 2020 is set to be a monumental year in the career of Rudosa.
