Machino has become one of México’s most consistent techno producers, releasing more than 5 albums, EPs and singles across as much many labels like New York Haunted and Mainmise, from distant places in Eastern Europe to local labels back home in the border of Tijuana and Los Angeles.
Every once in a while Machino returns to Static Discos to release his most experimental output and his latest album is called “Las Manos” (The Hands), a collection of deep layered EBM like slow burners that are imaginary soundtracks to some of Machino’s favorite experimental art films from the sixties and seventies. The extended play mini album is also available as a limited edition tape from Machino’s own Bandcamp page.
